Ben Johnson from Detroit did a stellar job with the Lions O,but that would be a lateral move so IDK if he would bite

Yeah not sure he'd bite there? I guess there is more talent here so perhaps he thinks if he had another great year in a better offense perhaps that catapulates him to a HC position? If he either isn't successful or doesn't get a look in this year that is.

His O makes things so much easier for QBs. The O as a whole. His utilization of motion is something Siri is obviously clueless about.

And it’s why I mentioned Klint Kubiak as a possible option at OC if we move on from Johnson. He is the current passing game coordinator for SF.

But as I said there isn’t any guarantee he can build an O that is successful like Kyle.

If we made him the HC it would be plausible. Same thing applies with the Texans OC. Slowik. He really impressed me. I’d take a swing at him taking over if it was up to me. Nobody expected their O to do much of anything this season. They were strong.

Also why I mentioned Josh Mcdaniels as a possible OC candidate but have to wonder if he could mesh with Siri… I’m sure Josh would want a lot more control over the O then Siri has given to previous OCs

Slowik is my top guy as a HC might be a year early for him but the job he did turning around that Texans O with a rookie QB I’d take the risk and let him grow on the job instead of missing out on him

You think we have more talent on O than Detroit? They have the better OLine. Better  RBs. Goedert is give the nod to…but LaPorta is looking really good. Jameson Williams and Amon St Brown are very quality WR.

Everyone now going to get top O line to replicate the tush push LOL.It's coming can we defend it as well as run it? We opened a can of worms by overusing it(1 of the 8 plays we ran)

If you compare Hurts to Mahomes or Jackson does Hurts pocket passing even come close to those 2? I don't think it does and those are running QB's also. So I would liike to see a coach that can bring back the passing progress we saw from Hurts last year that vanished this one

Mahomes isn't a running QB....he can run... uses it to buy time ...not really a runner....no where close to the volume of carries as your typical running QB.

They have called QB runs for him. No need to run if you can pass, but he can if that's what they want him to do so I disagree. Fact remains Hurts isn't the pocket passer those 2 are

They called QB runs for Foles....  Mahomes can move.... he isn't a running QB.

Once again it's because he doesn't need to be. Under pressure he has no problem running

Why?   Was stopped twice in the playoffs

Yes ...no problem scrambling to buy time to throw....with the mindset of pass first.    Running QBs don't have that mindset.

Guys like Fields run because they have to. I count Fields as a running QB also because they can burn you with their legs. Foles couldn't do that,he was too slow

I actually think The Brotherly Shove wasn’t a great play for us. I think it exposed our players too much. Think it was a factor wearing down our Oline and QB. Took on way too much abuse running that play.

Because they don't call running plays much,they don't need to,so we disagree,whatever
