Don't care who you have out there...nobody can stop the other team unless you are actually near the players. Tough to tackle, deflect or intercept without being near the receiver. That's the first thing that needs to be corrected. That scheme was AWFUL. even I could complete 7 yard passes and look good doing it

We seem to like drafting C"s and making them G's,but I would like some quick "bulk" blocking for Barkley,so the big strong T's would be the way to go IMO,who could also slide over if Lane got hurt

This kid Lane is mentoring from Oklahoma has been talked about as a possibility of coming in and starting out as a RG before taking over for Lane

Which most likely won’t have anything to do with my statement of Bryce and Nolan being on the field at the same time.

When you see the Eagles defense on the running downs.... if Smith, Huff, Carter, Davis and Milton are on the field... how do you see them line up? I don’t see them lining up on running downs. But I am concerned about teams choosing to run on our pass D with them out there together.

Correct... which you should also not worry about teams running the ball on us in obvious passing downs either ....which was your original comment...so I made my comment in that if it's a running down, both would be playing the edge in a 3-4. I can't believe after the season we just saw with out 3rd and long pass defense, that you actually spend Amy time wondering about a team running on us in that situation???

This is your concern after giving up 128% conversion rate on 3rd and longs last year? I'm begging teams to run on us in those situations. As GB said...he could have converted those passes vs our 3rd down defense last year.
April 10, 20241 yr 3rd and 12.... let's pass...oh wait...Hff and Smith are BOTH out there on each edge... let's run??? Because both out there coming from the edge is much different than just one... I mean we can have our RB split his body in half along with half the football and run on each side??? In my world the ball carrier can't do that...you find a weak edge, you run there and the other edge chases...you can't take advantage of both edges at the same time...can you do this on planet Ham?

April 10, 20241 yr Big money for Bryce….can he play the run and set the edge? First round pick on Nolan….can he play the run and set the edge? Trust me this will be tested!
