Let’s start with…does Metchie contribute anything else than Slot? It’s tough to use a 53 spot just on that. Dress on gamedays even more so. But I’m on both sides of this fence here. I like Metchie and what he CAN do. Cooper earned a spot..think they are working him learning Gunner also.

Cooks earned PS with chance to get on the field status every week as a call up.

I forgot about Cooks LOL and what to do with BVS, he will take a spot from a RB or WR. I saw him on ST but "nary a carry" vs Cleveland(although I dozed off for 4 minutes LOL)

You can trade for a guy and cut him surely. Every guy that’s been traded for hasn’t survived cutdown day. What did we give up in the trade? What’s considered the last pick if the fifth round. Not being bold and personal….talking betting favorite and where the expectations lie. Our value is very late in the round trade value. They got a TE we knew was getting cut. They gave us what would be considered a middle…late/middle sixth.

BVS caught a pass or two in practice. Emergency last read option in the pass play…Will he hold on to the ball? I think so. Will he throw his body out there in every phase for the team? Definitely! I’ve been a bit opposite from you on the depth situation this season. I’m not thrilled about too much at the bottom going on. We should have a spot for BVS.

The LB room just been clear cut. Jihad and Baun. Trot and Smael. Feels like BOOM..got that room setup.

McCollum I feel can be relied on. Would get him on the field at least for a few packages most games even..Dime…even just a breather here and there for the starters. Mukuba locked it down. Cine has been injured the former Bulldog S..feels relevant. Sidney is a workout warrior. He wasn’t Fangio guy however. DeJean mixing in.

Blankenship is our Secondary leader. It’s so much about working together seamlessly.

He will be a gadget guy and on return duty. I seriously doubt the "100 touches on offense" claimed by one writer

TE I’ve been trying to keep an eye on…but feels like weakest for a fan to really pickup here. When you only have PS games of 88 yards of O…Nick Muse maybe coming from nowhere. Was it Gransons job all along? Was it the beat out reigning EJ…and nobody stepped up?

If turned to one time a half as the dumpoff emergency outlet…Will he hold on to…be relied on? Think he could carve out a nice little role if so. Enough to not just telegraph we are running it. Like we’ll bring a FB in and pass it on you. He’ll block for the run or pass mostly. We’ve had a second TE doing that enough. Heck we’ve had Slot WR doing that even. Why not a FB? IDK that is 5.8 TOUCHES(100 touches) per game. Blocking is one thing, those aren't touches I hope we don't have 5.8 emergencies per game, but after yesterday maybe we could LOL

So this Metchie trade is interesting because he's not going to get many snaps in pre 3 and it seems unlikely we cut him if that is the case. So for me he will be on the 53 with a "hope he works out" asterisk. I know Houston wanted TE3,but not sure we needed to add another slot WR to that already crowded group. I just have to trust the FO,I have no choice anyway. Could trade Cooks I suppose, we know SF is looking around and they need to be fleeced HAHA
