August 30, 20251 yr I think Dejean will get paid as long as he keeps playing at a high level don’t think the FO is going to care what they label his as just stud secondary player.Also wouldn’t shock me to see Dejean as the #2 CB playing on the outside in base sets moving inside in nickel. Even talks of Dejean playing S this year

The evolution of the game...he is a starter...a standout... a top 60 player... that's why he will get paid.

Look at AJ and Smitty's deal,then look at Dotson's(et al). Sure there are exceptions,but for the most part the outside guys get the bigger basket of goods. IMO DeJean is an exception and as you said he will he paid on value earned(as he should be). Just in general,but DeJean is much more
