It should be obvious that we stash guys on the bottom of the 53 without any real intention to play them... because we can dress an emergency QB now along with dressing multiple guys from the PS up to a certain extent.Cover returned punts for us multiple weeks without being on the roster. You can see the one obvious move is to use the LS from the PS ... would not be shocking if they did the same thing with another position, perhaps the returner? Who knows.The point is the 53 man roster is not the only list that we can use a player during games... and due to that, fact, it's been obvious that we stash guys on the 53 to protect them, even without any intention of playing them. In theory, there are guys on the PS that are ahead of some of the guys on the 53 when it comes to having a chance to actually play.

If I was coach I’d P it as close to the endzone as possible…but out of bounds. This will be a good surprise for you when you realize what a weapon we have at the job.
