Do like this PS lineup here. Estime works as that fourth RB. Cooks earned at least that with his early flashes. EJ at TE obviously works. Patrick Johnson is a serviceable option.

AntwuanPowell Ryland I really thought was gone

Have to wonder will Epps start for us? Image it will be Brown at the start

Is this BS rumor or is Parsons getting traded to the Packers?

Mukuba is the handpicked Fangio choice. All his tape backs up the decision. Durability is his concern.

I wasn’t all about Mukuba when studying the draft class. But after we selected him…I loved his tape and abilities. He’s a football player.

But now I’m back to really questioning if he’ll ever holdup a n the NFL

So some philosophical NFL roster construction questions here. Just how unreliable can any player be for you to stick with?

For me the decision begins with can the guy play?

If he can ball out then I can be much more acceptable of lesser durability. But still means you can’t depend on that guy but so much.

But really feel like the NFL expanding so much just forces this reality so regularly. 17…soon 18 games…then playoffs.

Any player consistently gives 14 a season is about all that can realistically be expected.

A guy like Mukuba I’ve been seeing as inevitable evolution. Anybody been around here for years knows my thoughts have been D should load up on S types. Play them at LB and S…even Slot. So just stock up on these type players.

Three S on the field in second most utilized personnel package league wide:

LB shrunk down to practically S size requirements of the past

So made sense to me for over a decade going here now to just evolve to heavy S.

Like 5 starting S. Still think it’s key to have that top elite LB. But that’s really it. Stock up on S types instead.

I’m talking so much more than what’s going on in the league.

I’m saying the whole logic against my approach has been surrounding durability. S can’t hold up as well. Especially if inside as LB roles. But LB and S aren’t positions these guys can really hold up for. They all going to miss games. Heck these smaller Lb proving exactly the downside about their durability.

So why not just base the plan around these guys will miss time.

Actually roster

Feels like Epps was the necessary decision to balance out Mukuba durability concerns.

My thoughts have been why aren’t D around the league just trying to really stack up targeting S? Guys that can cover and tackle well.

Figure four on the field consistently. Obviously will need backups to cover all those positions.
