Told you Matt Pryor wasn’t going to work at T

Told you Fred Johnson was a good backup.... well not just me. Pretty much anyone who watched football last year ....realizing that most teams have a disaster when a back up plays there.

Thing I pointed out is…ant team that’s watched the film on Fred will destroy him

Again with the vague stuff....who destroyed him...apparently nobody in the NFL must watch film.

Nobody is as smart as you

But... lets see how often Tampa blitzes and or forces Hurts to go left. For some reason they seem to be the only team to do that.. along with the press coverage. But AJ is the X factor that changes the man press coverage with a constant blitz. Tampa has not beaten the Eagles when AJ has played.

Did anyone on here think Matt Pryor was the solution at Tackle?? I'm like to see any posts to verify that.. isn't he a guard???

Imagine if we’d kept Wentz instead of turning it over to Hurts…like you preferred

Why are you talking about keeping Wentz NOW? He has literally played for the Colts, Redskins, Chiefs, and now Vikings since he Played for the Eagles. Did he play for the Rams too? That shipped sailed a LONG time ago.

Will we want to bring Bennett back as a camp body even?

Idk... zero for zero is an attempt to improve the roster.... at a position of need. Sometimes it works.. you can find a Patrick Peterson. Very rare but worth a shot for a guy who was going to get cut.

Moving forward…we still need a CB

Is that your tail between your legs?

Thank you. Ham does love his Ancient History.

That was my take. Pryor was Steen’s presumptive competition at Guard with the loser being the first backup. Lamm had the inside track on being the OT backup if healthy, which it turned out he wasn’t.

I didn't realize that we have beaten the Rams 9 out of the last 10 meetings ( other than disaster injury filled 2020) ..

Siri is 4-0 vs their great coach....a slippery field from beating KC the last 4 times in a row. Didn't realize Siri has owned all these supposed great coaches so badly!

My take was they would have preferred Fred Johnson the whole time but they let him pursue other opportunities. Pryor I always thought a possible backup at G. Not even a guarantee to make the roster. Certainly not a OT.... but Ham told us so...lol.

Say players name and then PFF grade

Don’t subscribe to PFF. Only get highest level numbers … grade, snap count, pressures. Not the level he provided.

I buy that, and when he hadn’t achieved a starting slot with the Jags, Howie got him back for a bag of peanuts.

Ok. Hope he learns how to catch the dang ball in practice then. Yes I’m being a smarta.., but making a valid point.

Some film analysis on kickoffs

Booker wasn’t getting cut…you’re referring to Bennett I assume

Yes, Pryor is primarily a G. I was dumbfounded when they inserted Pryor ahead of Johnson. The whole time the Eagles kept falling behind due to the stagnant O, lack of blocking, pressure on Hurts, I kept wondering when are they going to put Johnson in.

Jets, Phins, Texans and Titans are the four 0-3 teams. What’s the trade we can make with them to get it done this season?

This was exactly the approach I spoke about when we discussed the new KOs. We’re going to see some guys come up with some interesting kicks I think.

Very easy for a return guy to get smashed on kicks like those knuckle balls. Almost like smear the queer.

This was the plan all along. I agree with you…Pryor is a G. Fred isn’t going to be a good option for any length of time. Any quality rushers prepared at all for him will light him up.

I always thought Johnson filled in admirably.

Much better return than the inept and seemingly disinterested Bennett

So you expect a guy to change teams, walk in and be all pro game 1? Being a CB is a little different than being a lineman. Give Bennett a little time to learn how Fangio wants things. In 2 more games if he is still the same I will join you on the "he needs to be benched" train. We all gave Hurts 2 years to get better, so stop with the instant gratification crap. If Fangio thinks Howie needs to make another move, I'm sure he will let Howie know, but there aren't many other options out there unless you know something Howie doesn't

Didn't he hold his own for a few good ones last year? Like the guy in Cleveland?

He has…I’m not trying to take away from what he’s done for us…but not looking for too much ahead from him either.
