Hurts struggles reading the D was a slam beaten to death by #Hurtshaters. Hurts came to the NFL young. Different coordinator and O every year of college. So yeah…obvious results were Hurts focused on just learning that new O each season more than any other skills. Every QB needs big development reading NFL Ds. Drew Brees and others showed such great mastery of this skill well into their thirties. That’s under great very capable coaching.

So Siri one step approach and thinking actually chose and made the decision to not develop Hurts reading Ds. Siri nonscheme just proof that Siri doesn’t even get or understand all these crucial levels needed for an NFL O. Embarrassingly low use of motion. Playcalls getting to the huddle late in the playclock…leaving least possible opportunity for Hurts to even look over the D before running out of time.

It’s been Siri and Patullo this whole time running the passing game. Only exception being last season. Even that Siri got in the way stalling progress most of the season. So is it you guys belief some how that Hurts just doesn’t put in the work and slacks off is why he’s been slower developing in this area? I’ll clear that up on spot to get corrected if that’s anybodies misconception. Hurts has been as dedicated and focused on his craft and winning championships as any athlete ever.

Wow....the great Detroit #1 offense... only put up 17 in KC. All that great O mind there... 3 points less than the Eagles.

Seems like every season Hurts proves the naysayers very wrong. Under Siri and Patullo narrative was Hurts couldn’t read D for years. Then magically(only word to describe it according to #Hurtshaters opinions) last season Hurts took over blocking calls reading the D. Nonmagic reason being given the resource of Moore finally. Moore equipped Hurts with audible powers finally last season. Watch last season highlights…a third of the big plays were results of Hurts audible calls, because the playcalling actually wasn’t very good still.

Over and over this whole time I’ve been the only one that’s consistent. Siri and Patullo are way under qualified to run a pro O…a college O(truth actually keeps going lower and lower but I’ll skip that). Not just does Siri one step think everything and chose to neglect coaching Hurts needed skills…those two just aren’t even capable.

Mahomes older and still struggling with the same areas as Hurts. Mahomes isn’t a workout warrior. Mahomes isn’t nearly as dedicated to the craft. Mahomes not even all that mature an adult. Name a superior resource and O scheme to what Mahomes has been gifted his entire career.

Hurts I’m straight volunteering needed much development reading D coming out of college. Ultra coachable and dedicated hard working player. What’s he been given? Embarrassingly inferior. I don’t think any case can be made for Siri’s O being above worst in the entire league. There’s terrible at 31…a huge gap…then Siri.

Track record laid out of evidence is so extensive at this point. Was more understandable first season or two under Siri the misunderstanding or flat out blind denial. At this point it’s over and over again example after example of pure factual proof.

Has Hurts proven he could read the D, call the protection, audible and step up to be the best player on the biggest stage to prove he’s a pure champion? Only reason I even put a question mark is because of the #Hurtshater opinions right here.

All this isn’t me even just getting to understanding in hindsight. I’ve laid it out very thoroughly since year one of Siri. At 10-1 in 2023 everybody here was convinced we were the best unstoppable team and denied there was any problem. Well not everybody…one person was bashed as just being negative and wrong. How did things go after 10-1 start? Anybody here admit the answer of pretty much played out exactly what I was saying before it actually happened?

What’s the other consistent knock about Hurts? No Mas was dead set on Hurts would never lead us to a championship. That’s after he blasted Hurts as not worthy of being a starting QB.

I was the lone person here convinced moving to Hurts from Wentz.

Provide any person stating Hurts was our greatest ever franchise QB before I did.

But sure…deny our biggest weakness has been the O coaching, scheme, gameplan and playcalling. Stout is the man…no shot taken at him. Given the resource of Moore…even with Siri meddling and blocking development and progress so much…for a single season…undeniably proved my point this whole time. What did I say last offseason? I’ll provide the answer in case anybody reading wasn’t here for that. I wasn’t really high on Kellen Moore. Yet…he was such an upgrade my entire belief surrounding last season ceiling I laid out simply as depending on just how far we could get progressing with Moore.

How did I exactly predict and understand everything surrounded how far we could advance with Moore? How did all of the sudden Hurts proved all the haters theories wrong reading the D adding so much more responsibilities exactly last season under Moore?

The other knock was Hurts can’t throw over the middle. That’s a Rosie issue. Sure Hurts isn’t protocol height…behind our mountainous Oline…that’s a Hurts weakness. Hurts can’t control working his butt off to grow four inches. But he maxes out every area anybody could actually control by: living and breathing year round complete tireless dedication. But anybody not completely blinded by their sole obsession with #Hurtshating…so obviously just sees the problem for what it’s been: Rosie struck out with dozens of attempts to find that third WR. Any QB production relies the most on the quality at the other end receiving the pass.

Then again magically(only way it happened if I was to believe the terrible opinion of #Hurthaters) Hurts proved he could throw and produce over the middle. Absolute miracle…or just very simply Moore moved Smitty occasionally to the Slot.

I appreciate the way bad opinions elevate my opinions perception. I’m no genius. All I do is understand that terrible options Rosie failed at so much providing in the Slot results in terrible production from the slot. To me…believe it as so very basic and obvious. I’ve played and watched so much football. So I have my qualities of knowing about the game.

Why compare Hurts to Mahomes? I’m REALLY happy and grateful that Hurts helped my favorite team, the Eagles, win a SUPER BOWL. I will be forever grateful. It was so awesome.

But in no world do I think Hurts is a better QB than Mahomes. Has Hurts had better GAMES than Mahomes? Well yeah. But he is not a better overall QB than Mahomes. No way. Besides Hurts, you may be the only other person in the universe that thinks that. It is cool that you think so highly of him. But saying it out loud might be a bad idea sometimes. ALL Eagles’ fans like Hurts and definitively want him to succeed. It is just frustrating to see Hurts make rookie level mistakes at this point of his career. Clearly I am not in the locker room to know what his coach preaches to him. I’m sure that is a factor. So let’s go Hurts! Learn from it and let’s go! Opposing teams are not going to lie down for you.

AJ wasn’t open quick enough against that blitz. But you’re killing Hurts over incapable of reading the D all over this decision,

No way am I losing or wrong here. I didn’t deny AJ was a TD option. Proved to be a better choice than Dotson. But that’s because of Dotson more than Hurts. It’s a good option taking the Out against such Off coverage by one defender.

No. Wide open Smith was the overthrow to the deep left. Wide open AJ in Acho’s video was over the middle.
