7. It was an odd game for Hurts, but we should point out that with 24 passes Sunday, Hurts has now thrown 241 consecutive regular-season passes without an interception. He broke the franchise record of 233 set by Nick Foles in 2013. Hurts has now gone 10 straight starts without an interception, tied for the 3rd-longest streak in NFL history. Justin Herbert had an 11-game streak last year and Tom Brady had an 11-game streak over the 2010 and 2011 seasons. Jared Goff in 2022 and 2023 and Derek Carr in 2018 also had 10-game streaks. Since throwing four interceptions in the Eagles’ first three games last year, Hurts has thrown 360 passes over 16 regular-season games with just one interception. He’s the first quarterback in NFL history to throw at least 300 passes over a 16-game span with one or fewer interceptions.

Do you know what nits are? Or the history behind actual picking of nits?

My perspective is of a person who went to Woodstock and supported the no bra movement. It is who I am.

It's 2025.... we have enough stuff that is labeled prejudice ( how about that as a replacement word...lol) I don't think we need to add the term nitpick.

It is a neat little rac-ist expression too.

Not really

Why do you think is cleanliness next to Godliness?

There are plenty of non-rac-ist alternative expressions that can be used as substitutes. Why be either insensitive or obtuse?

In fairness, not that hard doing 5 yard passes LOL

My opinion is that worrying about that stuff that has origins of way back when, is useless because what matters is how things evolve and how terms are used in the present day. I think you are splitting hairs, nitpicking, being a little anal, how ever you want to put it. I just saw a clip of Marcus Spears saying " we are nitpicking here, as we talk about a team we feel is a contender for the Superbowl" Former NFL player 300 lb black man, are you going to write a letter into ESPN explaining to Marcus that he is a race ist ? CC me on that, I'd love to read it.

Lol, I saw the same video. Hilarious how our Eagles get all the attention from people just waiting for them to fail.

CB-Riq Wollen? Hmmm. Is he an upgrade to what we have? Seems we have a revolving door at CB lol

I will gladly write that letter. I will post it here. Splitting hairs and being a little anal are very good alternatives. @cunninghamtheman would do well to use them.

Good thinking.

His decline has been palpable. Used to be an upgrade. Now, not so much. The reasons for his decline are a mystery.

But sometimes a change of scenery(and culture) can bring them back(see Becton for example)

Evidence that supports that belief?

You wouldn’t get it since….you don’t believe it’s been Siri’s O the whole time

I’ve always credited Siri with how thoroughly he’s detailed The Brotherly Shove. It’s an area of strength for Siri. He also focuses very hard on situational football. All I’ve wished for from him is to just keep adding to his repertoire.

AJ’s route running has been uninspired

AJ came out today and owned his mistake. Saying it’s just fine to get frustrated….but shouldn’t let that frustration boil over.

Evidence is evidence. If it is clear and objective there isn’t any "getting it” involved. The evidence speaks for itself.

You are practicing duck and weave to cover up the reality that you simply don’t have any evidence to support your belief.

Siri doesn't call the O plays LOL. You still don't get it

Yeah... Travis Kelce even put it in perspective...too much energy wasted complaining, a waste to do it when your team is winning and putting up points.

Travis Kelce would be furthest from poster boy on the subject

Your stance is Siri never calls plays. Would you wish to place a wager on this?

11 for 11 in the red zone. Winners make plays at key moments. The red zone being a smaller area to work with, more difficult to run the ball being that more defenders are naturally in the box due to no room behind them.

It takes a elevated level of both the play calling and the execution to score at the high rate. A bad play design in a small space won't work. One slip in execution in a small space won't work.

This is where Ham will be happy with me...I put a lot of the red zone success on the QB. Yes other guys have to execute and the play call has to jive with the situation... but the QB has to speed up his brain, remain calm and execute more precisely.

Beautiful back shoulder to AJ... dime to Smith on a 4th down... no panic and smooth on all 3 of the short yardage plays to Goedert and Barkley. I believe vs Dallas he had a good decision to tuck it and head for the left pile on.

You don't get yardage in the red zone...the stat that matters there is getting the TD.. 11 for 11... which leads to the ultimate stat...4-0.

Actually he would be ideal...because he complains a lot. That's exactly the type of person to speak on the timing of a proper complaint. Guys who don't complain... really are the ones with no advice to give.

You got inside info to where it will be transparent?
