They can be gashed in the run game though once the runner gets past the 1st level.

Really only chance we probably will have. We either figure out how to get our rushing attack rolling or we will be in trouble tonight.

THIS is the game for the O to get their sh!t together though. You get a TD, you get a TD, you get a TD… LOL

Giants Defense

The Giants’ defense is a fascinating contradiction. They have elite individual talent up front, players like Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Abdul Carter, and Dexter Lawrence, but you wouldn’t know it from the box score. Schematic predictability, poor tackling, and a bad secondary have turned a talented unit into an inconsistent one. They currently sit 26th in EPA per play allowed, despite ranking in the top 10 in pressure rate. Weird.

It's exactly not the game for the O to get anything together. Awful matchup up front with limited prep time.

The exact formula for it being difficult to work on stuff

Thursday games are sloppy . Wake up call is irrelevant for Toth vs Dexter Lawrence. .. players matter. The Giants DL should have huge advantage over the October 9, 2025 version of the Eagles OL. From there, right off the bat, it should be difficult to do much on offense...let alone dominate anything.

We get through the game healthy with a win.. that's all we need tonight.

No injuries suffered on the most injury prone surface….

Or....we roll with 7 man protection packages and trust the QB?

I'm on a wait & see basis right now. Sounds like you're going to need one of your favorite Eagles' jerseys on for protection lol

Yeah have to admit…didn’t have my Eagles hat for the game last week

💯....this game ...in your term....is an obstacle...each year due to potential injury issues.

Just get past this game ...win and healthy. Work on stuff another time.

Yeah…just going to focus on the try to not to turn the ball over on O in this short week rivalry game.

No faith in our guys can perform and execute that strategy. They aren’t on the same page this season. The key strategy change last game was Broncos lined up a bunch of guys near the line and dropped most back in coverage.

Four man rushes we let two guys through almost unblocked.

Why didn’t we grab Newsome is what I’m trying to understand

Exactly what we needed

Giants' D has allowed 22 runs of 10+ yards (29th) and the film confirms they have an obvious weakness. Despite a strong front, the Giants cannot contain the edge. They over-pursue, the DBs don’t fill consistently, and linebackers arrive too late.

Staying out of 3rd & Long situations will be paramount.

Niners GM supposedly is searching for a pass rusher to trade for

This has been the book on the Gmen for years now. But we are struggling to run the ball. We really will find trouble if we get into any known passing situations.

I hope so, but I'm not counting on it due to the short recoup week. They need to get rid of these Thur night games. They're a killer.

Jalen Carter is inactive for the game tonight what going on there?

I predict their Dline will be completely disruptive all game. We can’t block practically anybody…these guys will be a real problem.

Great for the screen game. Look for a big game from Goedert

Gabe Hall the elite run defender was called up to take Carters place

Think there has to be a real concern for our defense tonight even more so with Carter now out…. Dart is a threat running the ball and Skattebo is a tank looking for run into someone every play…. They also like to throw him the ball and we are in trouble if he getting the ball anywhere near Ringo absolutely terrible tackler

Let's not forget Hurts can run ok? If you dodge the over pursuit he will make them pay by taking off

Have to clean up the penalties then seems to be our biggest issue on offense every time we get little something going penalty calls it back

Their best shot is to force him to run left and make him throw on the run. He can throw going to then right just fine. I would like to see some contributions from the slot(Dotson)

Also have to add hope we run to the outside more often then not the Giants best player is in the middle of the DL in Dexter Lawerence let’s not play to there strengths and run right at him

If you burn them early on over pursuit they will hold back some. We need to do that right off if they are going to bull rush Hurts
