I've seen an Eagles team score 3 TD's in 5 mins - this isn't it.

They have 2 more TD's to get yet.. I'm out of foam bricks to throw at the TV,now I have to get up to reload

Hurts forgot to carry this team

I understand injuries and can forgive that part. Can't forgive this OC and his play calling or the poor tackling. If HR can't take care of the CB2 problem by Nov 4th, stick a fork in this season. It may even be too late by then.

Well that was hard to watch.

Week 9. We have to play at Vikings and then Giants at home.

Not sure what we look to do with this we can’t seem to adjust at all on offense seem to find some things that work for a half then can never build off them.

OL has just looked brutal Saquon is consistently getting hit in the backfield having to make 1-2 guys miss to even gain a yard…. The handful of times he does get some good blocks he gashes teams.

Just some observations which may be obvious

Eagles continue to run between the tackles with Toth (Second string) on the left, Jurgens at center (recovering from back surgery) and Strin on the right. (not the road grader that Becton was) This O line is NOT the same

They've run 5 play actions all year

When they line up in shotgun they pass

When Hurts lines up under the center they run

THIS IS ON THE OC

And lets face it< Hurts is an average passer no more no less

All you missed was things got much worse and harder to stomach as the lowly crap Gmen squad just dictated the entire football game to our Eags. I never had that feeling like we were coming back to find a way to victory.

It’s really not our only need, that second outside CB. We have a generous amount of quality young players on board. So not like we went All In just for this season. Right now, it’s not even a move I’d really go hard towards. Not really thinking we are just that one other opposite outside CB away from bringing home the parade.

We just won the SB…brought back 10 of 11 starters….not going to come across such an alluring OC job opening to be filled. Patullo should have just been the fallback break in case of emergency option if every single other quality option just refused. Some many quality coaches throughout NFL history and present would just be drooling over such a cast to coach.

Last season O should have gone done as at least arguably the greatest O ever. Siri decision was hold that super talented O cast back and play things ultra conservative. While the league history has featured great teams that would have relied on that O to carry the team…heck look at Cincy.

Thing is…the naive blind fans that purposely blind themselves about what’s been going on with this organization. The problems and issues aren’t Patullo so much. He’s as much of a puppet doing Siri bidding as it comes. Siri trusts him and they communicate well and thoroughly I completely believe. So Patullo actually that OC that Siri has empowered and let’s have the most freedom. Steichen wasn’t even playcalling or QB whispering initially with Siri you must remember. Siri literally had no other options but to turn things over to Stechein to keep his own job. But it was doing so running Siri O and scheme sadly. Johnson it was rumored didn’t have much relationship with Siri really at all. That Rosie and Lurie made that call promoting him(for all the various reasons). Same thing they did hiring Desai. Add in the preplanned scapegoating of Desai from the beggining by bringing in such a cancerous Patricia solely desiring to sink Desai and take his place profiting from his failure.

Johnson in 2023 didn’t sound like he had much power or input with Siri hardly at all. Hindsight especially points towards Johnson input was with Hurts. So that was the internal battle that whole season. Johnson had to do Siri bidding while he and Hurts(whole O in truth) were so frustrated with Siri O.

Patullo isn’t Johnson. Siri and Patullo really seem to be two coaches that talk ball together for years and years. So they listen to each other and try to figure things out together. Obvious track record proving those two aren’t qualified or capable of doing so. Seems like both are friendly trusted coaches and all. Loyal. But freakin’ terrible at the X and Os surrounding this game. I’ve had problems with all kinds of different coaching issues throughout all my years around this game. But I can’t think of any other time coaches stuck out so glaringly near incompetent at this. Including college or the pros.

It’s bad! Such an obstacle to be forced to overcome. SB champions returning everybody. I was feeling we were in our greatest ever franchise run too. Wanting to have enough accomplished to refer to our Eagles actually having a dynasty run.

Thing is….no salary cap on coaches. Fantastic personnel of proven champions to lure in any available top O mind in. So turning to Patullo really disappointing. Understatement….especially since Siri and Patullo track record ALL these years here has done nothing but prove they can’t handle the job.

I’m convinced Rosie stepped in last season even to save the day. At the last possible minute. Plan was Moore O…Lurie, Rosie and Siri made this clear. After The Collapse Rosie clearly was looking at other HC options to turn to from Siri. The options weren’t there last offseason though. So …get why they demoted Siri but kept him on. Clear as day to me that Steelers game was when Rosie commanded Siri to let Moore run the O. Siri out of job security room back control…which I can understand really. I mean who puts their career in the hands of the guy looking to profit most from your failure?

Now we are just trying to coast on what Moore and Coach Doug accomplished last season. Which wasn’t even a true full season…since Siri high jacked the O for at least half of the season.

What part of this year’s team is actually thriving?

Oline hasn’t been above average. RBs are producing at league low levels. AJ having an abysmal season. Smitty really looking like personally he should be having a huge jump on a monster season…but even him personally stepping up can’t overcome everything else weighing him down.

Majority of posters here all they bark about is our personnel talent level. Wouldn’t know a better way to make my case about scheme and effects of coaching than to point at our 2025 Eagles. Too much to overcome. Most my time being an Eags fan I’ve wished for a WR as great as AJ. Watched coaching scheme our O to win with guys like James Thrash.
