Cunningham, you are persistent. If you HAVE to defend a person SOOOOOO much, what does that really say about that person?

I loved Michael Vick as an Eagle. But I recognized his QB limitations. His two biggest flaws were that he clearly didn’t study defenses well enough and he always assumed that he was just faster/better athlete than ANY blitzing safety…which he just wasn’t.

Peyton Manning never really threw a GREAT spiral. He just outwitted defenses like no other QB ever.

Recognizing that no one is perfect, what do YOU see are Hurts’ biggest weaknesses as a QB?

My two nephews, brothers, are fans of each of these teams…the older being the Seahawks fan and the younger being a Patriots fan. I like the younger one better, so I guess Patriots it is…haha….pains me to even say it. Ewwwww.

Well I thought Hurts didn’t have the best ball security. Believe that’s been improving. Don’t like when he runs out of bounds losing yardage instead of throwing it away. Maybe both tie into each other.

Hurts isn’t a prototypical QB. Our Oline is huge. So there is a limitation there with vision..,probably specifically..over the middle. Hurts sure doesn’t have the cannon of an arm like Mike Vick.

But some things I believe are teachable..coachable….especially for a player works so hard. But I doubt he’s the smartest player in the league. Far from stupid…but no Peyton Manning level thinker.

Gannon to the Packers…not great for us. Gotta figure he is very knowledgable about everything with the Eagles.

Be interesting to see if we have interest in any of the coaches on the playoff teams…. I know Davis Webb seems to be a popular name the pass game coordinator and QB coach for the Broncos

Rams staff has handful of coaches as well we could look into

Was still hoping we would interview David Shaw but doesn’t seem like we have any interest

We interviewed Miami former OC Frank Smith and Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson for the OC job

Doyle Bears OC passed on becoming our next OC

LSU Weis Jr also informed the team that he plans to stay at LSU so can count him out as well
