What coach can’t utilize AJ?

What coach can’t utilize Saquan? Coming off being so clearly the best O(probably whole NFL) player just last season. The best…down to what? What’s his RB rank? Don’t play fantasy anymore but can’t believe Saquan is producing as a top 15 RB.

Plus side…Goedert they focused on turning into a redzone weapon finally. Something he just never was before. But that’s just one guy…that’s not very reliable to suit up but so much.

We went from Siri should be replaced and axed over The Collapse to he gained control enough to dictate his boy Patullo promotion to OC. Real bad judgement there. Very troubling decision by our HC. Couldn’t do what’s best for the team. Made the very selfish and comfortable decision instead of what our 2025 Eags would need.

I don’t even see this as an issue with Patullo. This really is all surrounding Siri. Him controlling the O with his beliefs he’s a great O mind coach. That factor makes what should be a great opportunity as a OC job undesirable. What even remotely decent O mind coach wants to come under Siri…in Siri O? Steichen…did. Johnson hard to argue against him taking such a large promotion under even those circumstances. Moore they literally went all out in a super elaborate scheme to trick into taking the OC job. They screamed to any microphone that Siri was remaking as CEO coach only….that our OC would have full atonomy and control over his O. Did all that just to trick Kellen Moore into taking our OC job. Think about that…personnel most here just endlessly preach is so fantastic. But Siri bullied right back in on Moore even in that situation. Then promoted Patullo.

Read this…speak it out loud. Siri has been very straight up about his belief in himself as an O coach. We won a SB. So he was given the power to actually choose. What did Siri do? He promoted his most trusted puppet boy. Wake up if you some how still try to convince yourself Siri hasn’t been running our O most all these years. Finally got some power that Rosie couldn’t even deny him because he was a SB winning HC. What did Siri choose to do with his power? He literally ensured he had zero roadblocks in his way towards controlling and running his O.

Not even any grey area about Patullo clearly bring Siri’s biggest puppet shadow option. Exactly the first choice anybody would have mentioned if the question was: which coach would Siri hire as OC if he was all about controlling and running the O.

Fired Johnson …scapegoat trying to mask the real problems and issues. Really surprising to me so many lapped up that cool aid and asked for seconds, thirds, fourths.

Nothing to really even be frustrated about with Patullo. Scapegoating him and firing him isn’t the answer. The answer Rosie and Lurie understood after The Collapse even so very clearly. Siri isn’t the right guy to run our O. CEO coach is his only possible fit. Which really don’t even know what that job would entail. Siri wouldn’t really be involved with the D or the O. Make the game time situational decisions, go talk at banquets for benefits on our teams behalf, organize setting up our teams scheduling….rock paper scissors

Weird observation: this team seems to run more comebacks than any other team in the league. Does Hurts like stationary targets more than guys crossing, etc? His deep out passing has never been great….unless the receiver is wide open.

This team runs no screens. Why not? Well, I guess they run those stupid, ineffective WR screens.

Why don’t they feature Barkley on choice routes? I remember Westbrook OWNING defenders on choice routes. Get Barkley in space!

How is this not on the OC? His playcalling is pathetic. Every run is under center and up the middle…several where Barkley gets drilled by three defenders 3 yards in the backfield. COACH, see what defenders are doing and ADJUST! It is NOT rocket science! Every pass is in shotgun. Defense could probably call the play at the line of scrimmage when the Eagles line up. Pathetic! Professional football for heck sake.

The more I watch the Eagles offense, I can call the play before the ball is snapped. My son asked me if I had a direct line with the OC during the first half. So bad. Get the QB under center and play football that makes the defense play honestly….please! Hurts can do it , right? Or am i missing something?

I’m really struggling to understand why this offense is soooo bad this season so far. They are bad! This team could EASILY be 2-4. Is it JUST two new guards? No way! The run game to me is the most obvious struggle. It looks like they only run one or two run plays and the way they line up TELLS the defense beforehand which run it is! So change up the looks PRE-SNAP! Do not wait until the bye to install it either! This alone will help. Right now it is too easy for defenders. Make it harder for defenses to diagnose plays AND run some screens to help the guards a little.

One last thing tonight….I really don’t like playing fantasy football. Strange to you all probably, but I don’t like cheering for guys playing against the Eagles. It’s just wrong! And I think its BS that when a guy gets ruled out an hour before his game, that the computer is not able to replace him with the next best projected player. I have a life. I don't pay attention to every game every week. I have Bowers for the Raiders. He didn’t play last week and he is one of my starters. I lost by 2 points. Thats just stupid. My lowest point other player had 13 points. I’m 1-3-1 and have lost all 3 by a total of 5 points. And how do you TIE in fantasy? Make a tiebreaker. Cant be hard. First time i ever drafted my own team and yahoo said i had the best draft of everyone. BS! My team and manager suck! 😱

I don’t know why so many comebacks, but they won’t be consistently successful unless Hurts starts throwing the ball sooner so that the ball arrives immediately as the receiver makes his comeback turn. That way the cornerback won’t have time to make his drive back to the catch point to attempt a PBU.

Regarding screens the largest part of the problem with traditional screens for this team is that the O-Line has historically been so good that the opposing D-Line is used to getting pummeled every play, so when the Eagles O-Lineman gives him the kind of free pass that is customary in a screen pass, it is a clear "tell” that the play is a screen, and the D-Lineman reacts accordingly rerouting his rush to disrupt the screen catch point.

Looks like a great call to AJ here.... the QB is taking some heat here locally.

I understand we have guys missing and the next guy up is not quite as good as the guy he replaced. I also understand you can have a bad game now and then. Still you can't totally implode like this from being SB champs with basically the same players. I'm SMH. Just watching the lack of tackling(there is zero excuse for this) just makes me want to toss my lunch. We went from hoisting the Lombardi to executing like a group pf Pee Wees. Just horrible. I watched play after play where mediocre guys ran through us like Swiss cheese. I told you earlier the luck would run out. On to Minnesota, then back home for Gnats 2.0 and if we lose that at home heads will roll because Lurie doesn't like to be embarrassed in his own stadium

No coach can utilize Saquon when our OL is looking like his Giants OL back in the day…. Saquon is getting no hit in the backfield 50% of the time and only gets worse in the RZ

It was Siri O in 2021-22 only difference was Steichen calling the play

Last year the offense was the same as 21-22 and 23 only difference was Moore calling the plays

And guess what the offense is the same again this year only difference is the play caller.

Again knowing offense and being a good play caller are not the same things
