That way the cornerback won’t have time to make his drive back to the catch point to attempt a PBU.Regarding screens the largest part of the problem with traditional screens for this team is that the O-Line has historically been so good that the opposing D-Line is used to getting pummeled every play, so when the Eagles O-Lineman gives him the kind of free pass that is customary in a screen pass, it is a clear "tell” that the play is a screen, and the D-Lineman reacts accordingly rerouting his rush to disrupt the screen catch point.I can’t disagree about The timing routes needing to get worked out. Just practice practice practice. Shouldn’t really need a coach even for that…so Hurts should be able to overcome that obstacle. Thing is…Siri never incorporated timing routes pretty much at all. Unstoppable O no matter how good the coverage is. Pass rush negating also. But it’s really pretty much all new and being figured out…very sadly.

Well, I guess they run those stupid, ineffective WR screens. Why don’t they feature Barkley on choice routes? I remember Westbrook OWNING defenders on choice routes. Get Barkley in space! How is this not on the OC? His playcalling is pathetic. Every run is under center and up the middle…several where Barkley gets drilled by three defenders 3 yards in the backfield. COACH, see what defenders are doing and ADJUST! It is NOT rocket science! Every pass is in shotgun. Defense could probably call the play at the line of scrimmage when the Eagles line up. Pathetic! Professional football for heck sake. The more I watch the Eagles offense, I can call the play before the ball is snapped. My son asked me if I had a direct line with the OC during the first half. So bad. Get the QB under center and play football that makes the defense play honestly….please! Hurts can do it , right? Or am i missing something?Gotta correct your huge error on Hurts. He practically made a living on deep balls outside. Last season Siri dialed all that stuff back. Super overcorrection by Siri because in 2023 the buy extra time so AJ and Smitty could get open deep was the entire passing playbook.

Is it JUST two new guards? No way! The run game to me is the most obvious struggle. It looks like they only run one or two run plays and the way they line up TELLS the defense beforehand which run it is! So change up the looks PRE-SNAP! Do not wait until the bye to install it either! This alone will help. Right now it is too easy for defenders. Make it harder for defenses to diagnose plays AND run some screens to help the guards a little.Seems like you understand so very perfectly what’s wrong with this O.

Strange to you all probably, but I don’t like cheering for guys playing against the Eagles. It’s just wrong! And I think its BS that when a guy gets ruled out an hour before his game, that the computer is not able to replace him with the next best projected player. I have a life. I don't pay attention to every game every week. I have Bowers for the Raiders. He didn’t play last week and he is one of my starters. I lost by 2 points. Thats just stupid. My lowest point other player had 13 points. I’m 1-3-1 and have lost all 3 by a total of 5 points. And how do you TIE in fantasy? Make a tiebreaker. Cant be hard. First time i ever drafted my own team and yahoo said i had the best draft of everyone. BS! My team and manager suck! 😱Tiebreaker could be longest TD play

First quarter worst scoring team in the league. Second half took advantage. We don’t possess this advantage this season. Maybe at the end we will put it together.

Yesterday at 12:22 AM1 day My opinion is I hated to see the Siri influence last season on Hurts pretty much our HC teaching to be gunshy practically to our franchise QB
Yesterday at 12:24 AM1 day You can’t coach don’t throw interceptions. That’s not coaching. Coaching and scheme is teaching where to go with the ball as the right decisions.

He usually responds well after these types of bad performances. Pittsburgh last year was probably his best game of the season after that debacle vs Carolina.

You said that you did. He pointed out very clearly where a good QB can't miss Smith or AJ in those situations. The conversation was where it was proof that Hurts isn't elite as a passer. It is what it is... I think people forget that nobody plays well every game in the NFL. Every QB struggles at some point.

I also understand you can have a bad game now and then. Still you can't totally implode like this from being SB champs with basically the same players. I'm SMH. Just watching the lack of tackling(there is zero excuse for this) just makes me want to toss my lunch. We went from hoisting the Lombardi to executing like a group pf Pee Wees. Just horrible. I watched play after play where mediocre guys ran through us like Swiss cheese. I told you earlier the luck would run out. On to Minnesota, then back home for Gnats 2.0 and if we lose that at home heads will roll because Lurie doesn't like to be embarrassed in his own stadiumQuality tackling was a huge plus from this team in games 1-4, and even in game 5. So much so that the network broadcast commentators/announcers went out of their way to point it out. So Thursday’s poor tackling game was an anomaly … especially for Zack Baun. Everything about the game was a shitshow. Hopefully the Vikings game will be a return to past form.

Manning, Young, Marino, maybe Favre, definitely Brees could. Mahomes can. He might be the only one out there right now.

But obviously we are a work in progress. You just want to not develop these passing concepts….then flip the switch and just start only throwing. Things need to be ironed out. Let’s start with how our team came out of TC this season. A nice way to describe our coaching this PS would be….way behind what was needed. Then we don’t really get but very limited opportunities to actually do these things in live game action. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Hurts did call the blocking very correctly to handle that blitz. Which this is only his second season calling the blocking.
