Fumble in the red zone is a bad fumble. Watching the play, I thought he went to the wrong side of Toth....who was pushing the block right, if he goes to Toth's left there were more yards to get... the defender (the 2nd one who was there on the right) made a very nice play on the ball. He wouldn’t have been there if Hurts went left. Also you could argue he should have had 2 hands on the ball and fell on his back or left shoulder instead of reaching his left hand out to break the fall.

It's a bad time to fumble...great play by D that Hurts could have done a couple things differently to avoid. Game is much easier from the sidelines without 11 guys looking to kill you...so only so much criticism we can give. But I dis think his error was not following the block correctly to avoid the defenders who made the play

Another thing... regardless of it being a " bad" fumble... the bigger thing, it was an excellent play call.

No but it does highlight a lot of what went wrong for us last night.

1st drive what like 17 plays and we are driving the ball should have walked away with some kind of points if not for the fumble that killed the drive.

2nd drive mailata slips resulting in a loss of yards then next play Saquon slips after catching a screen. The give up draw run to Shipley though I don’t understand and we did this numerous times put the ball in Hurts hands give one of our WRs a chance.

4th drive Mailata false starts puts us in a hole then we have a 21 yard Barkley run negated by a hold putting us even more into a hole before eventually having to punt.

End of half we just gave up which would be the areas of this game that I don’t like 23 seconds at least 2 timeouts might have had all three

Mind you we only had 5 drives the entire 1st half if you even want to count the 23 seconds at the end as a 5th drive….. 1st quarter both teams only saw the ball once before it ended.

Bark is still a blast to watch, That spin move was awesome

Maybe a better question would be was it due to poor ball security or just a good play by the defender

I agree the wording of the question could have been better, but as it was posed, it created a lot of dialogue in three different threads. JMO, defenders are taught and work on punching balls out. QB's have many more things to learn and while they may get some work in how to lock a ball in defenders are bigger and stronger in the upper body. Hurts could beat them on a leg press but I bet he can't bench or dead lift near what defenders lift. You don't see many QB's that weigh 355. Big guys beat up little guys. It happens, no reason to get into big arguments.

He should have removed himself from the Eagles while he contemplates his future,not after the deal is made,or possibly the deal was not signed and why he was absent yesterday. Still there should be something done as we could have signed someone else before the deadline passed.

My question would be did the Ravens know?? Should the Eagles get their 6 pick back?? Was the deal even signed?? Will be interesting to see how the league handles this

He practiced....I think we eat this and move on. We retain the rights should he decide to come back. Really bigger concerns....and Philips makes up for any of it.

IDK CB2 seems like a big concern, The fact Love stunk up Lambeau and made our CB's look good means it's still a concern. Not every QB is gonna crap their pants
