Like Rosie can never do anything wrong. Just not a realistic point of view from you.

Of course Howie makes mistakes no GM is perfect but the point is Howie tends to be far more positive than negative…. That’s the realistic point of view with him only a handful of GMs are even in the conversation with him as being one of the best in the game

Traded Booker then our run D suffered along with Carter missing time while not performing well when on the field…all for what did we get from Bennet? Nothing…Booker has been their starting DT. Yeah Carroll got Rosie on that trade.

I’d say it’s too early to say who won the trade Bennett unfortunately dealing with injuries like a lot of our guys this season…. But Booker has been avg. at best.

Guys I have on watch and what round I think they go in(WAY early so this can change),but on Saturdays they are guys I look at. My fav late in round 1 at this point is Colton Hood-CB-Tennessee. Round 2 guy-Romello Height-Edge-Texas Tech. For interior line help one of my round 3 guys is Jake Slaughter-C-FL. With C experience he could play at RG and we'd have a BU C if the need arose(just sayin) My other round 3 is Malachi Fields-WR-ND

Nice concentration. He has a short memory. Comes right back and scores. Not flashy, not going to set records, but he seems solid, but for a late 3rd he would be fine https://youtu.be/SGUcPk9A4OY

I need to work a TE in here someplace. A sleeper/project TE I am trying to watch(hard to find their games) is Joe Royer from Cincinnatti

I've been following him snce late last season. He's an Ohio native, attended Ohio State for several seasons, then transferred closer to home.

He had a good year in 2024 and caught scout's attention. The Bearcats are having a good season (7-2) and are in the running for the playoffs

I have caught a few games on ESPN this year (Oaklahoma State, Baylor) where he showed some run blocking skills and ability to find zone sceme holes for alternate targets. He seemed to be a bigger contributer last year, before they picked uo some new WRs.

You can probably find some good highlights by simply googling him. He wears #11. Good size, similar to Dallas Goedart.

Hope this is helpfull.

Thanks, I believe Klare replaced him at OSU. I was born/raised in Ohio. I don't recall seeing him much as I usually watch OSU games when I can. I know you don't play for OSU if you suck and I also know Royer transferred for personal reasons that I read about. I probably wasn't paying him much attention since we were set at TE before. But Goedert is starting to age,so my attention has turned to looking at TE's more. Klare of course will be drafted fairly early. I was looking for some under the radar picks that could be had later(as I did last year and was a little surprised we didn't get one then). But Howie seems to like "proven" at that position, so we may not even draft one at all. I actually got to see more of Cincy when I lived in FL. After moving to NC, their coverage here is very limited to the "high profile" games, so it's tougher on me to check out smaller school players. I also went from DTV in FL to Dish here, so maybe that's the reason IDK. TE scouting is hard because the "highlight" vids are of them pass catching as no one seems to care about blocking(because that is boring LOL), so you really have to watch entire games to see any of that even though we covet blocking TE's. They don't seem to be teaching them much of that in college either as most are simply "big" WR weapons for most teams. Keep watching the cincy games and after the season ends maybe you can fill in some of the blanks about Royer. Some places have Royer in round 2,others in round 5,so obviously there is alot of confusion about him right now. It's too early anyhow, but I did notice he would seem to fit our style. One place said he "runs with anger" which I would love to see for myself. OSU consistently turns out awesome WR's so the TE's don't get the action others do

Next up, in the "someone explain this to me" category, I see we are 2.5 point underdogs at Lambeau. I'm sorry,I don't see that at all. I don't believe Kraft will play. Love has been pedestrian. They will get Watson back,so we need to lock him up. I have both RB's in fantasy. JJ could hurt us if we fail on containment but we boosted our edges some now so that should help. The maturity of Hurts has shown up this year once again and as long as he is calm, he will make good decisions and I just have no idea how we could be underdogs. Yes I understand homefield advantage, but I just don't see it. We usually play better away than at home. We are coming off a restful bye,we added some needed players and sorry, but I think we put the hurt on them fairly badly(I have it 33-17). I may have to bet that spread LOL

The Eagles released two players, outside linebacker Patrick Johnson and wide receiver Terrace Marshall, and opened EDGE rusher Nolan Smith’s 21-day window to return from injured reserve amid a flurry of moves announced Tuesday.

OT-

I want everyone to address me correctly, so when you speak to me I am adding a SIR charge of $3.00 🤣

Very curious the snap percentages a couple of our defenders will be utilized. Four snaps a quarter for new acquisition Phillips? Will Jaire get the start immediately? Or do they gradually roll away from Ringo?

I have a feeling Rosie has some metrics laying out how just going with Jaire Alexander at this point in his career was at the least a wash…from our previous production/lack there of.

See if we extend Blankenship here. He’s a FA to be.

Both guys come in during the bye week…image both guys will come in and start this week against GB.

Phillips have to image has a bit of an edge over Jaire having played in Vic’s system before but Jaire is a veteran player been in the league awhile. Plus Ringo has just been awful

FYI, during Baylor game, Rucker played inline and WRs were main targets. In prior games and highlights, he appears to play a classic TE style of play, with good speed and aggressive running style.

Overall, the Bearcats are ranked #25 at present.

I like this kid also. Already a good blocker. His issues is he rarely gets the ball(which kind of fits our style). But when he does, he produces https://rememberthetightends.substack.com/p/the-unappreciated-excellence-of-daequan Kid looks like a perfect fit
