This game shows how overrated sacks can be. Only 2 sacks, but as Collingsworth kept pointing out over and over and over again, Goff was constantly and consistently under immense pressure.

Like Ham pointed out, the weather/elements played a significant role in making the Offense look bad. Lane Johnson missing most of the game and then Jurgens missing the end didn’t help. Toth is a decent Center backup in normal snaps, but not decent in Tush Push snaps.

Now with the additions of Philips and BG and Smith back. They are getting pressure with 4...but Fangio also has used the blitz to where he has everything to use now. Just enough to where the opponent expects a blitz... that is a very dangerous thing.

That changes everything IMO. Absolutely makes them ( if healthy) a championship D.

And miracle of miracles Adoree has been pretty damn solid against both the Packers and the Lions.

Ehhh....you are close... idk about all your halves ...but i get it, if we tie we have the tiebreaker so you could say half.... but the Packers at 6-3-1... are not 2 and a half games back. That's one and a half with a tiebreaker so you could say 2 games.

But let's relax for now ..3 way ties change things...so let's stay focused ... after all...if we tie and the Rams win ..they go ahead. So we really aren't a half game ahead. No margin for error.

On to Dallas...let's win and put the division basically away. And stay ahead of the rest of the NFC

I would have punted both weeks with the time, score and how our defense was playing.

But the one thing I always like big picture ( not the moment itself or specific situation) ...but going for it allows all of your players an opportunity to win the game.

If you are an Eagles offensive player... you know as you were playing your worst, that the coach still has confidence in you and will give you an opportunity.

I still disagree from a game management perspective...but it absolutely could benefit us later on or just help the mindset and confidence of the players.

Btw ..watching post game now... Jaws , Avant, Roob..... all say punt. Barrett Brooks ( being a former OL) wanted to go for it.

Rams play the Bucs Sunday night, and later the Lions and Seahawks in a short week scenario.

Part of why I said 2 and a half rather than 2 is (1) the Conference record tiebreaker, and (2) the Wild Card vs. Division leader factor.

You can't look at it that way....we can have all the tiebreakers....means nothing without having at least the same record as the other team.

Btw... once you have head to head , nothing else matters, that's all you need.

There wasn’t even a need…it was practically only potential scenario the Lions had. The refs kind of messed us on seeing the inevitable final matchup…they were going to throw a pass to Jameson…and a pass to Gibbs. An Adorre Jackson moment of truth. Scary how far things could flip.

Hunh? He had 5 catches for 107 yards....awesome stats.... that led to zero points. The team had basically 6 points.

His catches had zero impact on the game. What had impact, was ee stopped him from running all over us. If he had 107 on the ground, would hsve actually had impact.... as seen where they scored their only TD on a drive that was 2 play action passes.

This just might turn out to be a pretty good D
