History is also a track record

What was Richard Nixon's track record?

Now…I give No Mas enough credit in this area that I could possibly be wrong

Comeback routes and the very RARE dagger play. Once again high percentage. low risk. Hurts should pass more, he drops dimes but he won't let it go

I didn’t say it did. You asked why Hurts passer rating dipped last two games. So I gave you the most obvious reason first.

Your comment was about Sirianni, not Hurts. You never mentioned Hurts in the comment, only Sirianni.

With most of it happening before Fangio arrived.

I credit Howie for kicking his own ass and going out and LEARNING to be a "football guy" It made all the difference. After the humiliating Reagor pick over JJ on TV and watching the Vikes war room erupt in high 5's and laughter, I think his ego was so bruised he went out and fixed it and he's been awesome ever since. He even finds excellent UDFA players to keep around for the future. I do alot of draft research. I don't have 100 scouts like he does, yet he still blows me off the map with his picks. He knows when to move for who he wants. I just pick them with no(or few) moves, but he is not afraid to make any move. Why he is GM of the year. He also keeps his players happy and in the money

He is like our slot guy, which I believe we all said would be a great spot for him and get another guy outside. Maybe that happens in the future, but we need to rebuild the lines and add depth first IMO. Hurts barely looks at the slot where alot of 3rds could be converted(Amendola and Edelman come to mind)

With his quickness Smitty would be great on slants(which we don't do either)

I still like Malachi Fields-WR(ND) but he keeps moving up the board and doubt Howie would take a WR early. I love that his ceiling has not been reached. He's going to do well in the NFL. So now, back to finding a gem in the coalmine LOL

Great slot choice

Nick Singleton just tied Saquon's PSU TD record at 43. Can go back to sleep now.

FL getting destroyed by Tennessee. My boy Hood is shutting them off. Grab him in the draft, and our secondary becomes BRUTAL

Saquons' psu td record fell, his rushing record will fall to Singleton next week. This Terry Smith who stepped in for Franklin getting a lot of support from players and fans to keep the job. Only game I watched today, busy.

Only 68 big boards on the consensus right now, that will grow to 400+ after the SB https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2026/consensus-big-board-2026?pos=CB

Still lots of ball to play. The big Bowl games will boost or drop some before the combine

I also like Dunker at OT from Iowa if we go that route

That being said, what if Dunker went one pick earlier? If Lomo, Procter, or Tiernan were the best remaining OTs on the board? Would you go in another direction?

I think you need to marry those two objectives as best as you can manage.

So, what is it that you like?

Personally, I think he has the right personality for this organization.

P.S. He may be a better fit at OG.
