That being said, what if Dunker went one pick earlier? If Lomo, Procter, or Tiernan were the best remaining OTs on the board? Would you go in another direction?

I think you need to marry those two objectives as best as you can manage.

The consensus board has Lomo and Proctor ranked ahead of Dunker, so if that assessment is correct, then the answer for those two would appear to be Yes. For Tiernan, he might be still on the Board in the latter part of Round Two.

I do, but really hardly anyone guesses Howie's picks unless they are extremely obvious (but he blew the JJ pick badly LOL). I had Asmith last time, but he really disappointed me. I had DSmith as a pick along with 1-2 others that would have been fine with me. Darus Cooper is a much better prospect than ASMITH (who knew? LOL). I'm not as good with D admittedly. Ham had Q and TD123 had DeJean(I liked them both as well). I won't complain about those picks at all. If Howie wanted Dunker he would move, he's not afraid to give up assets for the guys he wants. There are so many boards you can use as guides, but that's all they are GUIDES and they aren't right most times either,so it's a crap shoot. Of course we don't get the insider info they get, we only get highlight vids and the Combine

Hard to know, you'd have to go through 31 teams team needs and they may like someone better. Plus you get the annual QB and WR runs early. If DeJean can fall to round 2 anything is possible LOL

Terrell is also being talked about as a good fit for the Eagles. April should be interesting.

Personally, I think he has the right personality for this organization.

P.S. He may be a better fit at OG.

He could, plus he gives you the ability to play him at either spot. As far as a pure G I like Slaughter from Florida, but they sure got kicked today, although the QB had time and IDK what we'd like first if Lanes replacement is not already here. CB is still an issue I believe, but O line should be an early pick. I was hoping to keep Becton around

Becton may be back. The Chargers are likely to cut him in the Offseason.

Yeah, fit(skill and culture) is many times more important than any rank site. The org has a big task, they look at many scouting reports. They have to trust each scouts eval, then they need to decide if 1 scouts take is better than another then they have the 30 they can bring in. Usually we don't use near 30 who come in for private workouts. I think the ones we bring in are more for deciding NO, than yes. Scouts work 365, so they start right after the SB. I'm sure they have already sorted through a number of them already

IDK I'm just messing with the draft as I do every year, just spotting guys I like. That could change easily. I just try to put out guys to watch if you watch college ball. Some don't, some do and you can't watch every game either. Some TE's could emerge yet. We need to look at those too unless Howie thinks one can be had in trade

I'm trying to watch the TE from Texas, Endries

Making mocks as a fan, with limited resources is "precision guesswork" LOL

Wrong. Where did you get that idea? Fifth year option is fully guaranteed.

What happens if they trade him, what's the cap hit?

With the wind coming the lesser Siri presence being felt. The worst times when Siri most running the O.

Imagine how awful the coaching is in KC, Detroit, Green Bay, LA, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Baltimore... for not being able to beat an incompetent coach like Siri???

13 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

What we do know: Siri wasn’t ready when hired. Terrible start of 2-5 ..that was actually worse than that record. Steichen never been a HC ..took over and our team completely thrived. Those wins id label more as damning to Siri performance than annything else.

The best... with every post you make , you prove to each new poster on here, how little you know about football. The obvious agenda...

1. Hurts is the best

2.Howie is below average

3. Siri is an awful coach

Hey....but keep on doing you.... remember all that matters is a 2-5 start in 2021. Means way more that 16 consecutive wins vs the perceived top teams and coaches....and really should be 17 and 4-0 vs your boy in KC without the ice skating rink.

Be glad to learn if you can share info I’m missing.

The information is simple that you missing.

If the Eagles trade Davis.... no cap hit

If the Eagles offer a new deal toward Davis....his 5th year option is also taken off the books

If they cut him....and he signs with another team... that's an offset of his salary being taken off the books.

Basically... the 5th year option was a way to control the situation for another year. For less than 60% of what the great Milton Williams is getting in New England.

You always tout our Oline as the best league wide.

You disagree it was last year?

Man you really just die on the hill with terrible ideas

Look into a mirror

13 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

You just ignore coaching, scheme, gameplanning, practice…everything coaches get paid for as they r job.

Yeah... and for 16 times in a row... The coaches in KC, Green Bay, LA, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Detroit and Buffalo couldn't get the job done vs Siri.

You make a great point to highlight that.

13 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Except he made the playoffs after digging out of the Siri 2-5 disaster start

Another great job in highlighting the job Siri has done.... his record also comes after a 2-5 start.....what would that make it since that point? Maybe Matt has those numbers?

Peyton manning failed with the best team twice in college. Manning also didn’t win SBs until his teamates carried him.

13 hours ago, cunninghamtheman said:

Manning threw more interceptions than TDs when he finally won the Sb that season

The year he threw 31 TDs and 9 INTs for Indy....that year he won the SB?

Now…I give No Mas enough credit in this area that I could possibly be wrong

Probably you know more about tampering than you do about the cap and contracts.... just saying.

So far our offense has been, to put it nicely "low key". Big game for both squads. We can't afford stupid penalties. Dullaz CAN move the ball. They have a little trouble scoring and our D gets tougher in the RZ due to proximity. Their offense can move the ball, their defense is horrible. Pickens is excellent in clutch plays, CB2 needs to be on him, Bark should be able to hit the second level some, so I see some runs for 3,3,3,3,then he will blow one out for a long run. I would like to see 3-4 of those bust outs. I would like to see Tank hammer them also. The 1/2 punch will wear their line down. The bigger runs should come later as their D gets gassed. I'm looking at a tough first 1/2,they may even be slightly ahead, but I want domination in the 2nd 1/2. I want Hurts to let the ball fly more this game. I want to see Dotson hit 3-4 times on slants. Goedert should be a popular target in the RZ. AJ and Smitty should have decent enough games we can quell the TMZ BS. This week I DO want 31 pts. If Patullo has learned anything, this is the game he proves it for me and puts up that 31. Against this defense there really is no excuse now. Let's see how he does, but this is like a do or die prove it for me personally. We can get away with the vanilla chain moving O,but there is no doubt Dak will be tossing it around. We need to do the same. Great game to call the dagger multiple times. If we win we take them out,if they win they are still alive. We know what we have to do and the players needs to execute. That has been sporadic and it's time to settle in and do your jobs. Hurts needs to be ready for blitz's and I would like to see a few more from us also. They picked up some rummy RB who I doubt makes a difference, but whatever. I'm ready to tear these guys a new one and I'm excited about it. They are gloating and we need to shut them up until next year. Lots of fans made the trip. Let's do this!!! Eagle_smileytowel💪LII-LIX
