If Lane retires I believe Becton carries more weight than Lane.

I don't understand. Define weight. As in physical mass or more significant.

I fixed the post LOL

IDK I would like to have Becton back also. Both he and FJ are versatile. One or the other could be used as relief, but with the constant 3 and outs it's not like the O line gets gassed

I'm telling ya (I know you already know) and everyone else, this O would be way more explosive - barring better OL play - with McKee slinging the ball. The running game, which is every QB's BFF, needs huge improvement though. Tank needs to get the ball more. He was effective everytime he got a carry.

If Lane retired he would have no significance, but I fixed the post anyhow

Becton at G and FJ at T would work for sure.

IDK what we do about McKee. Seems like a waste of talent to keep him as a BU. Trading him is an option, but with Hurts "agreement" IDK what Lurie expects Siri to do. We won "scrapers" early in the year, but that was before we knew about this agreement that Hurts isn't going to bust anymore and will skate doing the minimum possible. Hurts waited for the big money, now Howie is stuck with him

Or vice versa with the beef on the outside while we draft and bring up young uns at Stoutland U. Lane not going to last forever

McKee lit up the place with the 2's and I would love to see him play with the 1's

No doubt here.

4 draft picks in order as of now 1) Colton Hood-CB-Tennessee 2)Trevor Goolsby-OT Texas 3)Donte Corleone-DT-Cincy 4)Oscar Delp-TE-Georgia. Still love Malachi Fields at WR(ND) but he's not going this late unless we get very lucky. Since Howie moves around who knows?

Apparently we have interest in a Slay return likely sure up the secondary some chemistry already there between most of them

I’d be good with the move but I’m not sure it will sure up the secondary…

Just having a winning season is underachieving. Is this something you can understand?

that's not what you said, and you know it, tinkerbell. so, save your typical delusional, circle jerk debate.

you said this ....

Doesn’t work in my book to repeat, no thanks

so, the season after the eagles just win a SB, you don't want a repeat.

just admit that you made a dumb statement or worded your post very poorly and move on.

(disclaimer - i know you won't)

I don't even understand how having a WINNING season is UNDERachieving???? Many teams would love that?

Bottom line(for me personally) After the "Hurts is not going to run" agreement that was disclosed, it's not hard to see why Barkley and the birds are having a rough year on offense. If teams know Hurts is not going to run, they plan for that as they know he is only a middle of the road passer. That is like Ali tying his right arm behind his back for the George Foreman fight. With no running game(because you can shut off that spigot) and Hurts being mediocre it's not difficult or complicated to see why the offense struggles. With a QB who chose to remove his best attribute and who knows after Howie invested in him, to be a QUITTER has to have a profound affect on the rest of the team. Hurts got his ring, the big money and played Howie for a fool. Hurts has lost all of my respect. He can get it back if he changes his tune, but right now I don't care if the QUITTER plays or not. I would be fine benching Hurts and playing a QB who has the drive to WIN. Does Siri have the balls to do this? Was Lurie aware of this "agreement"? Is there a Hurts contract clause for "agreements outside this contract"? Right now if we traded Hurts I wouldn't care at all. I want this team to WIN and everyone to contribute, but that's not happening when you have a QUITTER at the key position on the field. It's like slapping the other 52 in the face and laughing about it. Just pathetic. The fans egged the wrong house. In the early season games the defense bailed the O with Hurts producing the minimum needed to win, now they are tired men because the offense can't sustain a drive. Hurts is losing this team. We have plenty of talent being wasted by a QUITTER. Difficult for Patullo to run an offense with a QUITTER. Maybe it's time for FALCO(because we need HEART). Rant over

I mean hurts not wanting to run is shame since his legs are his best asset. And likely would help the ground game more…. But I also don’t fault Hurts for the OL failures this year not being able to win blocks upfront. We are just losing 1 on 1 battles on the lines…. Saquon getting hit 50% in the backfield isn’t just Hurts not wanting to run plenty of team run well without a mobile QB

To be somewhat fair to the OL they just are not healthy. Landon was injured preseason and rushed back for week 1, Cam had been in and out of the lineup, and Lane obviously.

Steen been alright but clearly not the same caliber run blocker as Becton.

Malaita has been the real head scratcher for me though lot of stupid mistakes this season from him and clearly not been playing well wonder if he is trying to cover more for Dickerson???

I’m still all for this team changing things up if we can’t get the O going by halftime against the chargers.

I think Tank needs more carries regardless think he is avg. like 8 yards a carry in his limited reps this year just gives a good change up to Barkley

Tanner McKee had success if Patullo/Siri are the major issue making this shift should only highlight it more with QB1 on the bench but also think it would spark a wake up call to the rest of the team that QB1 got benched for a half.

Side note I missed on the run game heard Geodart has been quite bad this season as a run blocker which is uncharacteristic for him since he was generally one of the better blocking TEs in the league

Easy. With a weaker O line and no threat of Hurts running, just key on Bark

Why do we even have Dillon?

More evidence of the team being lost by the QUITTER. Why bust your buns for a guy who won't bust his?
