McKee was Ham's boy last year. Because it was all about him vs Pickett. Now that McKee is #2... Ham doesn't like him anymore because in order to go up the ladder.. that means his main man would have to drop. Can't have a 2nd string QB that the fans like that actually looks legit. Ham needs to career backup... or the young kid that is the #3 with just the goal of being #2.

There is strategy to the agenda.

I like McKee for alot of reasons, one of them is he is 6'6" I believe. Nice to have a guy who can see over the defenders and locate the targets. The FO will have some decisions to make next year. JMO Hurts isn't hungry anymore

Kyle had a good O line at Syracuse

Can we build on the offense this week I’m not getting my hopes to high we beat the raiders but seems like some things were working for us hopefully help boost there confidence.

Doesn’t matter how terrible we have been as long as we start to get hot now going into the playoffs

Mckee has a lot of promise definitely could see him being a good starter in this league on the right team. Question is will he ever get that opportunity

Maybe this is the right team. Time will tell

Very hard to gauge when you play lower level teams. I would like to at least see us play clean. No TO's, few penalties, and solid tackling. Mariota is no Daniels, but he can't be sloughed off. He can still hurt you

you're as predictable as the sun rising in the east.

How did the goalposts ever become acting like it’s a quote from a poster…but instead it’s a bunch of different placed words by the another?

No version the bar has ever been lowered to accept faking quoting others.

And we've been fortunate to not have injuries to our receiving corps. Injuries there would actually expose Hurts as it does to other QB's

Who? Burrow with just the best WR in Chase he’s worked with even in college? Or Higgins an excellent WR as a Bengal also?

Detroit with Amon St Brown and Williams Olympic speed?

Talent at WR in the NFL I’d point out as being at an alltime high.

Not really close when it comes to supporting cast. Not even same ball park

I disagree because I actually very much included everything unlike you. Weakest O scheme in the league.

I can’t even see how this can be debated or argued otherwise even.

Which other QBs? AJ was injured whole first half of the season too?

Wow we already won the SB this year! Amazing stuff!! What does last year(or any previous year) have to do with THIS years stats???

I try to keep reminding you I don’t rely only on stats for everything.

the entire game was a stat padding event. c'mon, at least put some effort into your hurts cucking.

You can’t accuse Hurts of padding stats when he came out early and it was McKee getting the stats instead. Just can’t be done.

Nope...it's getting the shovel pass TD which is in effect a forward handoff.. that gets him the passer rating up... taking the dumb sack as he does plenty of times. Instead of throwing the ball away also prevents his rating from dropping

I could care less how the ball gets in the end zone...however I would prefer an incomplete pass than taking a dumb sack.

Incomplete passes…”throwing the ball away”….lowers passer rating

Should be another nice stat padding event vs the Wuss. Then maybe we see the 2's in the 4th(maybe even get a series of the 3's). I think the Wuss will be doing the same. I'm sure they want to lose to get higher in the draft order. Be nice to see some Sam Howell do well. His 2023 season wasn't terrible. Maybe we showcase him a bit vs his old team as possible trade bait while we bring McCord along

Do we control Howell next year to trade?

Trade deadline already passed. Can’t trade Howell. Fail

You hit the nail on the head. Read your own words. "a secured TD with his legs it doesn’t count towards boosting his passer rating.”

The numbers don’t lie. Your original statement copied and pasted below was incorrect.

Exactly…scoring a TD doesn’t boost his passer rater done that way.

On 12/17/2025 at 11:16 AM, mattwill said:

You know that and I know that, but it seems that Ham doesn’t know that.

See technically you are correct. But what I’m saying is exactly spot on with what occurs so much around here. Scoring a TD is turned into something acting like a negative.

You clearly don’t listen to what Hurts himself says about the SB award he won. Shortly after the SB he publicly said it is meaningless. The only thing that matters is the road ahead. Why do you ignore what he said (and says). His words are very wise. You should heed them.

I totally appreciate the way he’s completely changing definition of greatness

You are ignoring the numbers. If he runs it in his rating is calculated as a LOWER number than if he throws it in. The numbers do not lie.

I’m not arguing against what you are saying. But you are missing what I’m saying.
