Rosie stuck us in a hard place with AJ. Really telling how when Smitty got paid…AJ had to get a raise right away. Rosie has to understand much more than we do about the fractured relationship AJ and Hurts had going on already when he did this also.

I’m nowhere near being in the locker room…but their fallout really has been taking a toll. I know most here only consider individual player talent as the lone deciding factor towards winning football. But I do really think it’s been really effecting team chemistry. AJ a very talented player and team captain. Guys respect and look up to him. He’s not meek and quite lead by example only player. Very vocal…which can be good to hold teammates accountable and striving for greatness. But just so likely he’s been undermining team chemistry way too much. Have Siri trying to run his O…with his trusted right hand man following orders while possibly even voicing his own opinions to Siri about how things should be. Siri had self interest in undercutting Moore. Don’t think Siri and Steichen were really all that close. But then obviously our team leader at QB gets his input. Throw Stout in there somewhere. QB coach…RB coach. Then you have AJ opinions. You can’t follow everybodies ideas all at once.

Just going to be a brutal hit getting out from AJ contract trading him this offseason. Rosie has an Out after next season. But that just seems way too late. If Rosie didn’t pander to AJ just because Smitty got paid? We’d have already moved on from AJ I believe.

So Hurts is not at the top level, correct

Redefining what top level means….obviously the prisoners of the moment caught up always will choke over this statement.

Something you’ll never comprehend or appreciate FL. Because it’s everything important….not stats you singularly judge quality on.

"This offense is being run the exact same how it was last year," he said. "This is my offense. The criticism unfairly goes to [offensive coordinator] Brian Johnson because he's calling the plays. The criticism should go to me. The offense has been similar throughout my three years."

Weird how I accidentally came across this old article from 2023. Siri wasn’t just covering for his OC either. He can’t…because the players know better.

When Siri flat out describes it as HIS O…the same the whole time…how do all you guys spin this into fitting with your differing opinions? Very curious actually…because I can’t understand how anybody missed this very core Siri characteristic.

Concerning Moore…he actually wasn’t a great playcaller himself. What he did was establish a standard and expectations. Key being equipping Hurts with audible power and solutions. Hurts audibles plays lead to such a high percentage of the key big plays made throughout last season.

Was TO better than Julio Jones?

Better yes more talented no which sounds crazy to say because TO was a freak….

What Moore did was was limit Hurts the passer and lead heavy into the ground game something f we can’t do this season with a banged up OL. Forcing more on QB1 and it shows he isn’t built to throw us to victory week in and week out

Food for thought here. I’m not even sure what my opinion is on just athletic freak comparison between TO and Julio. I’ve typed making a case going both ways on this and just erased it. Big strong fast workout warriors.

That wasn’t Moore. That was Siri. Moore was trying to push the development of the passing game.

Started week one with Moore running the O all TC. Moore was developing the passing game finally for us. Siri undercut things beggining right in week two. Then Siri completely took over for reasons of self preservation(Siri was going to get axed if we lost to the Browns).

It was the players that were pushing for the ground game that Moore listened to because QB 1 wasn’t getting it done

I think Megatron is the most talented WR the NFL has ever seen obviously Jerry is the GOAT but never seen another WR get two CB lined up like gunners against them like Megatron not even talking about the numerous triple and quadruple coverage he would see on a bad Lions franchise

Then things hit a low. My educated guess was Rosie finally stepped in to force Siri to back off and let Moore work. Press conferences all the week of the Pitt game had Moore front and center essentially saying he was taking back over. Our passing game ignited! Really turned out to be at the last second to get that accomplished the way things played out to end the season. Moore O in the playoffs just proved how inept Siri running the O was. Not that anybody should have needed any further proof. Posting Double Nickle with Moore able to just do his job.

No Qb relying on Patullo as the passing game coordinator in Siri O could consistently overcome the worst O(coaching factors wise: scheme, adjustments….)

Yup missing numerous open plays weekly just terrible play calling your excuses are hilarious

Oline had injury issues and were specifically chosen because of their size, strength and mobility. Really it was injuries combined with the new O from Moore. Too many problems were occurring early on. Run blocking so much easier to not screw up assignments compared to pass blocking.

lol we are on a 9 game win streak but the Pitt game is when they tell Siri to step out of the way but he took over against the Browns to save his job that resulted in us going on a 9 game win streak after the bye your own delusions don’t add up

Siri is the only coach I know that’s terrible yet made 2 SBs and has had winning seasons every year and made the playoffs ever single season.

Terrible coaches don’t manage that not even with strong rosters not at this consistency.

For me it’s Randy Moss…I’m not even going to disagree with your choice of Megatron.

Pull up the quote where I even blamed playcalling

In fact I even stated Moore wasn’t a great playcaller
