Next two games, kick 10 FGs each game and see if you need a new kicker.😳

There is something very much to this though…more than Elliott. Our LS was placed on IR. So the second choice just got released and IR LS just returned last game. I’m thinking more of a whole unit ironing things out kind of thing.

Hey Sen. As far as to rest or not. Just tossing this out there. The last decent team we beat was Detroit, which was what 5-6 weeks ago??? We then lost 3 in a row and as fans we agreed "something needed fixed". SO we won the last 2 games vs crap teams. Does that mean it's fixed or just that we played crap teams???? Would we know if things were fixed if we beat Buffalo?? As far as standings in the world it may not matter, but heading into post season it's basically your last chance to see if your problem(s) have been fixed. It's not like this team dominated like last year. I mean you can rest guys, yet doing that leaves a huge ? Then we play the wuss at home, for another crap team probable win to close out. Maybe we need to play guys to know if any issues have been resolved. I see both sides of this argument. Just wondering how others felt. Rest with a big ? going to post season or play them(well most) vs Buffalo? Interesting choices ahead

More than fantastic! Holy crap! What a play!

You are the one that didnt like him? He is a very solid all purpose RB. What a freaking play! Wow!

That BUM/cut/played favorites/guy who sucks because he started 1 week years ago 🤣 lit up the Lions pretty well today🙃

I just don’t even know what happened here in this lions loss to the Steelers

It sounds like we are playing ball against the Bills. It’s a Go!

I don't know if it's worth playing our starters. Bears could lose vs SF or Lions

Playing the half type mentality proved to be a real problem. Can’t go into it with that kind of thinking. Either playing or not. (Now the coach could be thinking pull the guys…but dangerous if the players are thinking it)

Nobody is talking about the players it’s obviously going to be coaching decision again the question is the same what is the decision they decide to make?

Do you play the entire game against the Bills do you look to pull guys after a couple series or half time?

Do you even let Lane and Carter play or just keep them shut down until the playoffs.

Where is the line at? resting 2 weeks likely isn’t a good decision but how much risk do you put them in against the Bills a meaningless game essentially

Well guess mathematically we could still get the #1 seed would we get the tie breaker over Seattle if we both ended with 12 wins?

2023 proved that we did need to differentiate between coaches and players…previously that assumption would have been mostly obvious..elsewhere.

But everything I’m hearing is we aren’t hesitating at all about playing full go ball this next to last game.

It’s a go!

Bills are going to test how legit our run D is…without Dean.

Just look at what can happen if you have coaching that can target the matchups well.

Not worried about the W/L the next 2 games. I'm worried if we fixed some issues. You won't know if they are fixed if you don't play the guys who will play post season is all I'm saying. Until we play a GOOD team, saying things are fixed is only hearsay and guessing. Playing well vs the wuss doesn't give me confidence. In 2 weeks it's win or go home

There is validity to your statement about playing and proving you have things fixed. But also the opposite of keeping things very tight to the vest. Nobody knows and sees some new wrinkles…or adjustments….until the postseason win or go home games.

He’s only the seventh quarterback in NFL history with five TDs, no INTs, 73 percent accuracy and at least 75 rushing yards in a two-game span

Hurts became only the sixth quarterback in NFL history to reach the postseason in his first five years as a full-time starter.

Shefty reporting Lane and Carter are expected to be playing this week.

Why would they?

This game is meaningless to the playoffs

"It's been my approach since I've been in Eagle. And I think as a team, you know, just the caliber of guys that we've been able to get with the mentality that where they come from and their backgrounds and defensively, the vibe that they have and that continuity that they have, everything kind of coming together. We just want to continue to improve.”

"There's always joy found in winning collectively, truly embracing that,” Hurts said. "And when guys put the team first, that's when things are truly fun. And you think about all the guys that are on board and come into the team, every team changes every year. And not everyone experiences the same things, because they're not here.

"It always changes. My point is, as a leader, as a quarterback, you want everybody to experience that level of winning, which is a first step for us.”

Wouldn't surprise me for Elliot to get a mystery groin injury this week

I'm the opposite. I think Siri looks to kick a dozen FGs for Elliott the next 2 weeks

So you are the coach….who (starters) rests next two weeks:

I have the following:

Dickerson

Lane Johnson

Jeurgens

Barkley

Hurts

AJ Brown

Devontae Smith

Geodert

Dean

Carter

Mitchell

Dejean

Blank

Baun

Smith

Especially for the cheap shots i expect will happen in the final game. Rest ALL starters for that one.

You can't rest those guys without resting Mailata

2023 and this season are nothing alike though… 2023 we were on a massive losing streak what like 1-6 in the final stretch just trying to get back on track and only got worse then injuries

Now we just won our last 2(albeit against bad teams) but we look like we have some things figured out on O. But I don’t think we can just sit our starters for 2 weeks and expect them to be good to go in the playoffs either…. So what is the balance?

Obviously think final game none of the starters will play against the commanders…. But will we play them against the Bills? Will they play the entire game? Maybe just half? At this point what do we really have to play for we can’t get the #1 seed can we?

Plus 2003 we were playing for possible division win and a home game.

What are you talking about? Can you pull up and show what you mean? You sound really dumb.

Page 2631... the 7th comment down...GB's 3rd post on the page.. where he quoted me.. I replied right afterwards...but it only quoted my post that GB replied to... but didn't quote his reply.

So it looked like i was just replying to myself ...and not GB.

Was weird that his reply wasn't quoted? I tried again and it still just only quoted me and not him. So nobody else can reply to that post anymore lol. It's lost in the black hole of the message board...lol

See...39 seconds of a reply and no insults and explained fully. Try it sometime

I just give them the rest during the week. No practice and just hit the weights... it's more than just the games...it's practice as well when getting rest.

You do all the stretching, yoga, lifting, cardio... all the stuff that builds the body up... none of the wearing pads and stuff that takes s toll during the week.

Steen is a borderline backup in my opinion. He needs the reps!

Mailata probably should be on my list too. I imagine some starters will have to play.

No no no... nobody needs " reps" this time of year...his play will get better being fresh. He isn't going to learn from reps in a game that they don't care about. Come on now. Plus he is fine mentally... solid player....he just isn't a guy that wins physically. Reps aren't going to make him physically stronger. Come on now.
