An average O?

Who on the field is the biggest part of the O

I've given Hurts the benefit of the doubt all year but 50% passing the last 2 games and 5 turnovers proved to be that Cowherd is right

Something I NEVER thought I'd say

Always been stuck in Siri worst O. Why is or has this ever been acceptable? I can understand originally when hired. Ok…he was in way over his head…which everybody realized. So very clear in fact out of self preservation to Siri’s own career he had to give things over to Steichen.

This was very glaringly obvious at 2-5 in 2021. Yet just keep trying to keep going down this same terrible rabbit hole. Definition of insanity in fact. Siri’s O isn’t just not fantastic…or anywhere near those levels….talking very clearly been the very worst O in the NFL.

Don’t even get me started breaking down comparing to colleges or high school….or how much further advanced my system we operated under in middle school was….

"One thing that has become obvious for Jalen Hurts: he is a circumstances quarterback," Cowherd said. "If the O-line's perfectly healthy, if the offensive coordinator is great, if Saquon Barkley is having an amazing night or season, if the defense is No. 1 like last year, he's really successful."

Ya know, he just might be on to something

Now try just opening your mind to consider things in a completely different point of view here. I see things as this weakest nonscheme O is actually what you are talking about. That with debatably the most talented O personnel and exceptional culture our guys have been able to astoundingly overcome such a pathetic situation to levels never accomplished before.

Nah nah....he needs rest for playoffs....as Ham says. Plus Matt....we must play McKee to increase his trade value.

It's not a benching. . It's these other reasons from fairytale land

We’ve lost three straight and still over 90 percent chance to make the playoffs. We haven’t had any real driving force(reason) to really play for. I 180 my opinion this season versus last season about this season I felt much more important to just go for getting each W each week. Felt the one seed was important. Last season placed all optimism(during the summer in fact) on how far Moore could advance and grow our O. Wasn’t feeling…or expecting any growth, adjustments or development with the O taking place as this season went on.

Beat the dead horse some more. Seems like you’ve posted this more than a handful of times…for real. Yet never made a single comment about the hot mic on the sideline after the play. Hurts signaled to Smitty he was throwing the Hitch to him. Smitty on the same page with Hurts and runs the Hitch it’s a big play.

So explain why Hurts connecting with Smitty on a Hitch would have been so terrible?

Also this is an agenda driven screenshot. Totally snipped out one defender from even being on the field. Why is that?(only proving how agenda biased this all is)

This screenshot is late also. Another key tell tale sign it’s all agenda driven partial photo. Because the deep High S over Goedert just started breaking outside with his first move right then. Which can’t argue in hindsight Goedert play was there to be made. BUT….you can’t base much of anything from what’s occurring after a QB chose and is throwing already. Deep S was there making Goedert one of the actual worst looking options presnap all the way up until this too late moment AFTER THE FACT!

This is the ultimate example of poor O coaching and scheme for the most part…instead of what you seem to try and spin it into instead. Especially since it’s a moment where there was actually a quality playcall.

Now…after laying all that out there I still find fault on that play with Hurts. Never stated otherwise.

Smitty on the Slant was the choice to be made really. I know in hindsight Goedert goes wide open up the seam. But really no way to predict that happening. That deep S you’d 9 times out of 10 would expect to be right over Goedert making him the exact wrong choice.

Let you guys in on a little secret I’ve picked up this season: Hurts main passing audible option this season has been the Hitch. The other is Go deep. Inside Zone run the third audible.

Think back to 2023: Siri gave Hurts audibles of Go routes deep(which were the most utilized playcall without audibling), WR screen pass and inside Zone run

It’s been widely exposed by many the predictable ‘tell’ with AJ routes this season. Where he lines up dictates each route.

AJ never been creating great separation under Siri. But now you have this predictability factor. Been doing this exact same limited thing for so many years now. Book is out completely. He’s a beast …so always still so hard to stop him even with defenders already expecting his route.

To me it’s a shame more fans don’t have this understanding of what’s been occurring. The appreciation for what our guys have been producing skyrockets with this knowledge.

Rest him from what? He's not even breaking a sweat anymore. His effort fell into the Grand Canyon. His last major effort resulted in a historical dual turnover play 😂. Then a forced poorly thrown ball in OT. Maybe that was his plan to complete the QUADFECTA (SB,MVP,SB ring, Historic SCREWUP). The last one may get him a plaque in Canton on the "Wall of Shame"

Why is the interception and fumble on one play really so terrible? I mean yes…I referred to it as Three Stooges looking stuff. But the DT dropped back and intercepted the pass. What QB is expecting that hardly ever? That’s flat out fantastic playcall by the DC…with the huge piece of a DT that actually can intercept the ball. Heck seen tons of DBs not capable of that part. But then Hurts hustles and recovers the ball when that defender fumbles. Most QB hang their heads and are out of the play as soon as they throw a pick. Hurts kept fighting!

Great DC job performance. AJ Slant is near unstoppable. The DC dropped his DT right back into stop that play. That’s masterclass defensive mind at work.

More brilliant D mind than bad QB interception on this play. But then somehow you knock Hurts because he hustled and stayed in the play. He went after and grabbed that ball away from the defenders. Soon as he turns around another defender immediately pops him…causing the fumble.

That defender that Hurts recovers and turns right into immediately at full steam is Jamari Caldwell…340 pounder.

3rd and 2….Chargers DC perfectly predicts our play and move by dropping his DT right back into tip to stop it. That’s fantastic job by their DC! He exactly predicted and countered perfectly. That’s not so much on Hurts. Not an ounce of shame for any QB that happens to.

Their DC brilliance can only occur because of our O being so predictable. Sometimes these things happen. Under Siri occurs frequently unfortunately.

23-17 Eagles We still look horrible, but after all it's the Raiders. D gets a pick 6, Siri paces the sideline trying to decide if McKee should play @mattwill
