TE "highlight" reels only show catches, so hard to know how they block

Cincy has given Kelce and Celek two really good Eagles… well Kelce an all time C in the nfl

IDK none really scream out as "I need this guy" Another rather poor class of blockers IMO. Some good pass catchers if you can teach them blocking skills. Sadiq stands out, but I wouldn't waste my round 1 pick on him

He is one of the "bigger" TE's, maybe he is deceiving. I would be fine taking him with a late pick to see if we can work with him without a big investment

I'm still stuck on Colton Hood at CB. He would make our secondary nearly impossible to throw on

Interesting thing I heard is the we could look to draft a QB in day 2 to groom behind Hurts…. Still a strong possibility Hurts won’t get a new deal after his contract is up

The Vandy TE is an interesting prospect as well former QB still needs to add to his size but was willing to stay in school to further develop himself and has taken significant strides as a blocker and already regarded as a good receiving threat

Huh, no Hurts, buncha #Hurtshaters 🤣

Carter over Davis is sketchy!

Jordan Davis 65 tackles 9 TFL 4 1/2 sacks 6 pass break ups dude has been playing lights out

But look at it, he is here just to babysit Carter, and Carter made pro bowl. So forget the stats, Davis is the best babysitter in the league!

No. Campell can fill in for him.

Wow, handled like an actual adult there Joe! You answered a direct question (TWICE) and took a moment to explain everything exactly in the detail that was needed. Were actually polite and not pompous about it and not acting like a child for 7 pages. Like a person who actually wants to have conversation and respects everyone in the group.

So how did I differ? I directly just pointed out how FL created false words under a seeming quote like it was my words. I’m the guy directly dealing with plenty of just made up thoughts by several …without it going to levels of pretending it’s an actual quote just directly pulled up. It’s really only my issue. Because I don’t deny my shared opinions and words. Yet a few here try to spin and misinterpret my specific thoughts in very detailed knowledge Eagles football fans fashion. They change my thoughts into BS so they can counter it looking like they are right and I’m the simpleton that would ever think those things.

You have to decide and judge the potential and capabilities of the transition of each prospect. Thing is high picks and the big money contracts judged much more on receiving than blocking. The system actually setup rewarding the finesse WR labeled TE. Nobody pays tens of millions to the quality technique blocker TE guy. He’s basically hard to keep in the roster with most teams. 49ers and us…not much more actually use them.

You could argue a backup T is a better and smarter GM decision. Need for a backup T is larger than the supply of good options. So go extra T instead of two TE.

Difference being a blocking backup TE is so much easier to acquire than a backup quality T.

the snaps have been fine, elliot is just having another subpar season.

How would anybody know? LS for kicks is a magic trick like Doremvos proved.

Dorenbos could snap that ball with the laces just where they needed and in the location needed. Waived the backup LS for a reason. Had the original LS there for a reason. Then judged things…immediately made the move to the original better LS.

I have no real proof or extra knowledge to say confidently this is the situation. Who knows? But very easy to speculate that’s been the situation…at least know what choice Siri and Rosie made concerning it.

I’m just saying one game back from IR. With the switch maybe being more an issue than his fault of rust. That’s my argument laid out for optimism that Ellliot, the great K for us, still will be there to rely on for us to win any close pressure moment game to not be the weak link that will kill our championship repeat.

Wednesday morning Eagles-Bills Game Score Predictions -- 100 hours until Kickoff

The early predictions continue to lean toward the Eagles with the #3 seed in the Playoffs. With 17 predictions recorded 8 are for an Eagles win and 9 are for a Bills win. I personally have more faith in Tanner McKee than that, but time will tell. The average predicted score is Eagles 21 Bills 24.

As we do each week, we are gathering Game Score predictions. As always, please tag your prediction post with @mattwill that way I will be sure to see/record it.  Score predictions can also have an optional "Bonus Pick" tiebreaker prediction.  I will be taking predictions right up until Kickoff. If someone posts a prediction without a tag, please reply to it including the @mattwill tag.

The 17 predictions are:

Reading is fundamental. You clearly have a reading deficiency. Anyone with half a brain knew that the EMB software screwed up GB's reply to you. That software deficiency reaches out and grabs an EMB poster somewhere on the site multiple times every week. It has bitten me at least 20 times over the years.

Furthewr, you CHOSE to take personal offense rather than being a duck. That is on you ... nobody else. It is time for you to grow up and stop acting like a petulant child.

Well...Merry Christmas to start. And on that note I will be nice with my reply to this specific question.

  1. I replied right away specifically saying what was my quote and what wasn't. Like specifics.

  2. I didn't come off angry about it, because it was obvious mistake.

  3. While you were obviously trying to bait me ( telling me I sound dumb) I politely took a few seconds to answer your question... TWICE! Showing that I don't think i am above you and can take a second to specifically answer a direct question.

I had more to add, but it's Christmas, and I will be nice. Hopefully in the future you can handle stuff differently, being more mature and understanding that it doesn't come off well by refusing to answer a specific question, even if you have to do it twice. Showing that you don't think you are above everyone else and would like to be part of a conversation...part of the board, not acting like it's your board.

It was an obvious error made, point out the specifics without an attitude and go from there. Merry Christmas

Up to Siri. The med staff cleared him. IDK if they cleared him at 100% and IDK what percentage it takes for players to get "cleared", depends on the injury. Med staff can only say he is cleared with supporting opinions/documentation etc. It's a big game and I'm sure he wants to play. Camp could use more experience, so a win/win would be a nice rotation for both. JMO. Merry Christmas everyone

It's still doing it too LOL. I had to delete just to get it back to this point
