GB needs a TD to win. Super fun game to watch

You’re a moron if you believe the Eagles exist without the fans. Not throwing that term out lightly…but boy you sure earned it.

What percentage of the Eagles annual revenues comes from Eagles fans? When you provide that number you will realize just how myopic you are.

Eagles fans produce " local revenues” for the club. As is clearly explained in the following, local revenues are a small portion of the whole $23 billion pie.

The NFL generates massive revenue, exceeding $23 billion annually in recent fiscal years, driven primarily by lucrative media deals (e.g., Amazon, YouTube) and sponsorships, with over $13 billion in national revenue distributed equally among its 32 teams, ensuring each receives hundreds of millions before local earnings. The league is on track to hit Commissioner Goodell's goal of $25 billion in annual revenue by 2027, fueled by growing media rights and global expansion.

Key Revenue Streams

  • Media Deals:

Billions come from rights sold to networks like ESPN, Fox, CBS, NBC, Amazon (Thursday Night Football), and YouTube (NFL Sunday Ticket), accounting for the largest share.

  • Sponsorships & Licensing:

Major partnerships with brands like Gatorade, Visa, FedEx and licensing for merchandise add significant income.

  • Local Revenue:

Teams earn from tickets, concessions, parking, and local sponsorships, though this is a smaller portion than national revenue.

How Money is Shared

  • National Revenue:

A huge portion (around 62%) is pooled and split equally, giving each team a substantial baseline.

  • Per-Team Share:

For the 2024 fiscal year, national revenue distribution was over $432.6 million per team.

  • Local Revenue:

Teams keep most of their local earnings, though 34% of ticket revenue is shared through a gate receipt system.

In essence, the NFL's business model, heavily reliant on national media contracts, makes it the world's richest sports league, with every team highly profitable.

I do think this offense will look better though won’t be handcuffed by Hurts not wanting to run and protect himself through the regular season why still being a lackluster passer
