Patullo was here for like 5 years, don't you think by then Siri would know if Patullo had "fresh ideas"? Did we see any new/fresh ideas all year? Howie figured Siri knew what he was doing when recommending his buddy? Howie bought all that during his interview? That he was ready to be elevated to OC? Do you think Howie would trust Siri's judgement again on who to get? It's not like Patullo came fresh off the street. He was here 5 years. Somehow he passed Howie and Lurie's interview. Siri had to "get involved" late because Patullo was so good? Does Lurie really want Siri to pick the next OC? Especially now that they "advertised" they will get full autonomy? That basically cuts Siri out of calling the plays and all things on offense. Makes no sense for them to get Siri involved in the hiring if that's the case. They may tell Siri "we're hiring this guy and you need to get along with him". I hope we aren't running into another CHIP era

If the "new/fresh" idea was to ignore your #1 WR, then Patullo succeeded. It's a sad commentary when your #1 has to beg for targets. He's not on the field to run cardio drills. Tank was used sparingly despite the fact he had better YPC. At any rate, if Hurts is going to be a pu88y for 2 more years IDK how any OC will succeed with a QB who plays with 50% effort. Should be quite the challenge. What you will get there, is everyone else playing at 50% because if your QB doesn't care, no one else will either. Hurts is no leader, he's a SELLOUT. Watched 2 QB's in the college title game, they both gave it all they had. Hurts doesn't want to stub his toe. Just pathetic for a new OC to walk in to. If Hurts is a pu88y, no OC is going to have much success. I'm sick of Hurts "excuse on a loop" of "it's my fault and I need to do better". Yes it's alot his fault, but no he won't do better because he is a sellout. He gave away 1 year of SB window and now I guess we can expect 2 more of those. So sad

Did Ship make any/many 3rd conversions like Gains did? Any touches did you see him light it up? He was ok on ST if you want to keep him for that. I won't be mad if we keep Ship, and I won't be mad if we cut him. I don't care either way. Nothing he does excites me. He is just another mediocrity

Siri has given full autonomy to his OCs since Steichen. Was advertised with Moore also who Siri had a hand in hiring.

Patullo has been here but was never calling plays honestly would hope the Eagles would start training guys on the staff during games…. We have a big lead just like when we put backups in let an up and coming coach call some plays.

Siri has actually been good with the outside hires though he was the one that brought Steichen and then had a hand in the Moore hire the issue has been promotions from within.

Johnson who no doubt got promoted in large part because of his relationship with Hurts then Patullo with Siri both flopped and nether seemed to have any real sense on how to call plays everything just felt random nothing built of previous plays

Give Allen an actual WR that would be a good landing spot for him. I still think we should trade Hurts and our 1st for Burrow instead lol
