Looking at free agents CBs have Greg Newsome and Martin Emerson available. Both played for Cleveland before Emerson won out and Browns traded Newsome to the Jags.

Both are young guys only 25 can be long term piece instead our secondary with Q and Dejean. Maybe getting a bit ahead of myself but they both also played for Schwartz if that’s the route we go after Vic retires

Alot depends on Dickerson, AJ and if we are going to hang with Goedert for now(some mocks have Sadiq at 23)

Welp, then expect another year of friction with Hurts. I'm sure locally everyone wants to keep him(and all the other guys too) so no shock that's how the locals feel. Buffalo wants a SB so bad they may make a crazy deal for AJ. Using a high pick for him he could be replaced on the cheap since we are rebuilding anyhow, but the Bills would also need to eat AJ's salary. IDK if Hurts and AJ kissed and made up. Maybe the locals know if they did or not. I personally have no clue about that nor if the new OC has talked with them both. Any local insight would be helpful. If Hurts is going to ignore AJ, he can also ignore a rookie for alot less. I also know Derrick Henry has been pounding the table for a reunion in Baltimore

IDK why his success as an edge rusher was shut down and not pursued. He seems more suited to that than as a TE. I suspect we keep Goedert and Latu and add one in the draft as well as some vet or 2 in FA. It's going to be an interesting decision at 23. I'm not sold on Sadiq as the answer. anything is possible, I just feel the O line should be first. I am ,however, unaware of what type offense is now being discussed with the bevy of coaching changes. Sadiq would be great if we are abandoning the "blocking" TE we usually have. This is possible for sure, as I stated before they barely teach blocking at the college level. Sadiq would be a good receiving option(see Pitts), then pick up some vet blocking TE's in FA. In '27 we are taking ASG's grandson after he lights it up at Wyoming :)

Nothing we can do as fans right now, we have to wait and see who stays and who goes and go on from there. Ham says AJ "sabotaged" the season, which I can't buy, so once again this hinges on if Mr. Sellout has had a change of heart. We don't really know that either

In the latest installment of Stay or Go, the guys take a closer look at the receiver position.

DWD you could be right. My boy Malachi Fields moved up boards again today, Roughly around our 68 pick(up from around 80 or so), some a bit higher, some a bit lower. Love to have the kid. We know Howie loves to move around and make deals. Fields was the first WR I picked out this year for a move up the boards. We really need to find some young additions to the WR room. I think Covey comes back(agree with the above post). Cooper stays on the cheap. Wilson IDK, assume he will be at camp. Hurts liked him. Besides Smitty the room is really weak and I feel we need to take a WR higher than we have been but we have so many spots we need to upgrade I'm not sure where that WR goes. Howie will sign some FA's as usual but we know if AJ or Smith goes down we really have nowhere to turn. McKee I think gets traded. hate to see him go, but he needs the opportunity to start or at least compete for the start. No clue what we could get for him. I'm basically floating in limbo here until decisions are made. I've run about every mock there is to run. None are set in stone. 2 CB's I like are Chris Johnson and Malik Muhammed. Lanes replacement needs to be had now and if Dickerson retires then we need LG and RG. I hope Becton returns,that would plug one hole anyway(sheesh)

It's the start of the offseason. Nothing has any momentum yet. No news time regarding players. Maybe once the combine gets here.

OT, RG, LG(possibly), CB, WR(maybe multiple),TE(possibly), edge, S. So 8 positions of need, but you can't expect too much after round 4. We have 6 picks through round 4,so 2 positions go back burner, just can't decide what the order will be. Fun stuff!!

Yeah, too many scenarios yet, things will firm up,but in your dynasty draft I would look at 2 WR's if you need them as maybe sleepers Fields and Sarratt from Indiana. Not first or even 2nd rounders,but guys that could bloom down dynasty road

I have a plan. Trade Hurts to Minnesota for a Ham and cheese sammich and the remainder of his contract. Let him Eff up Justin Jefferson who will want out with Hurts at QB by next year. We acquire Justin Jefferson as he should have been an Eagle anyhow and Howie fixes his Hamityville recommended Reagor blunder. All is well, except in Hamityville, where mass chaos has brought the entire place to a standstill as now a choice between being and Eagles fan, or being a Hurts fan, has torn the town in 2 with collapse imminent.
