Since there are no TE's of note in the upcoming draft, I'm going to opt once again, as I did last year, to make a deal with the Raiders for Michael Mayer. He is stuck behind Brock Bowers and gets used very little and would fit our offense fine. He would be an immediate upgrade to the TE's we DON'T have now. He can fill for Goedert very well. If we want to draft a late TE to work on(such as Daquon Wright),that's fine but IMO the need is immediate and Mayer fills that hole and the following year we are drafting ASG's grandson from Wyoming 😁

Mayer might be cheaper on the extension but we would give up a draft pick.

Pitts likely cheaper then Geodart but probably more then Mayer but wouldn’t cost the draft pick.

Pitts is not a blocker. He's great if you want only a receiving TE. IDK what the new OC's plans are for the position, but I know Mayer is being wasted in LV. The TE room is all but vacant,we're going to need more than 1 even if we keep Goedert on
