Heard a tidbit somewhere that some coaches weren’t thrilled with being completely stuck with only Stout Inside/Outside Zone.

Poor player execution gets you demoted. You can coach your arse off but if the guys aren't going to execute, it doesn't matter

Reports saying lot of the O coaching staff is unsure if they will be retained depending on new OC…. So can cross off a new OC not being able to bring in some if not all of there own guys

Only two coaches I’d image are fairly safe are the QB coach since Hurts likes him and Stoutland maybe the RB coach he is well regarded and the RBs love him

From reports I’ve been seeing now really looking like JBC is the front runner for the OC job.

Has play calling experience, been an consultant here already, Steichen will support the move which likely has some weight to it obviously with Siri but image also with Howie/Lurie as well.

Colts had a fantastic O great ground game and got the most out of Daniel Jones

4 rounds, try this one 1-23 Kenyan Sadiq-TE- Oregon 2-54-Gennings Dunker(OT but I'm putting him at RG and can start immediately if we don't get Becton back))- Iowa 3-68-Julian Neal-CB-Arkansas 3-98-Austin barber-OT-FL(Lanes heir apparent) 4-122- Caden Curry-Edge-Ohio St. 4-137-Bryce Lance-WR- N Dakota St.

I don't like this move at all. If you piss him off he will go elsewhere which would be unfortunate for us

Yeah it was a screw up to ever involve him in Run Game Coordinator to begin with. Thing is he teaches specific methods. So that comes with the territory in a way. Whether you title him Run Game whatever….he always effectively has been.

I will agree with you here(rare I know lol). Sometimes CEO's will add a title to make people feel more wanted and as you point out, sometimes that is a bad move, but removing that title is viewed as a demotion which can cause that person to feel less needed, in which case they move on (we shall see)

Sometimes people don't care about titles. I hope he is one of them

Really spiraled into how many cooks can you have in the kitchen? Siri the head chef. OC trying to put everything together for him. Stout dictating certain terms apply to the O. Then you have injury situations maybe limiting things.

Oh that’s before digging into players. Hurts. He studies so hard all week. Believe he contributes as much as about anybody.

But then you add in team captain AJ. Just too much going on. Can’t please everybody.

If we're going to rebuild the O, may as well have a tight D in place

Which wouldn’t be rebuilding the O. Would just be pouring most all draft resources into the D so long.

Why would he need to "cover" the for winningest coach in team history??

It’s just that obvious to everybody else not being a Siri apologist.

Nope... he would run the team **** Dallas and never have cap space

My track record been here the entire time. Not at all flawless and perfect. But pretty darn strong!

Uh, that's their JOB!!!!! Siri is the CEO which you still refuse to comprehend. No one can fix that issue but you. Siri is the head chef(Like Gordon Ramsey) and the minions are responsible for their own section to make theirs work and Siri puts it together. Any one of the chefs can ruin the dish. It's the head chefs job to make sure that doesn't happen. There, I explained it AGAIN. Get a grip on how this FO works. It's not Siri's job to do everyone elses job. If you watch Hells kitchen you will see Gordon Ramsey doesn't get dirty or make the food for any of them, neither does Siri do others work for them LOL. Every chef has their job to do and Gordon's and Siri's job is to make sure everyone else does theirs. "CEO"

Now,if these dishes continually come out like crap, THEN you need a new HC or head chef, or head anything. Obviously this last season one chef didn't get it done(Patullo) and many of the minion players as well. They were sloppy, unfocused and not up to professional standards. Patullo was weak, so weak Siri had to inject himself later, but you still can't deny Siri is a winning HC. I had high hopes for Patullo since he was around all this for 5 years and I'm sure the FO and Siri felt that would be enough. It wasn't and the decision was made to move on, so that's where we are. All teams make mistakes. Sadly we waited too long to hire anyone significant or they didn't want to be here. Well a few remain, but very few, so hopefully it will be worth the wait. Let's see who we get before we panic. The O line constant injuries didn't help either as well as the CB2 carousel

Well never mind about JBC we decided to hire Sean Mannion as our OC

Sean Mannion just feels like an odd move for us another inexperienced OC with no play calling experience.

Now I’m curious if the Schefty report of Siri calling plays again might be true while we groom a promising young OC

Mannion though limited coaching experience has played for some really good O minded coach. McVay, Kubiak, KOC, and MLF

This Mannion hire also just feels like a we are locked in with him for 2+ years no matter what happens this coming season.

I don’t see this being a KP situation if we struggle on O Mannion going to be the scapegoat and fired

Mannion was the OC for the west shrine bowl…. So hey thats 1 game of play calling experience lol

AR had no experience as a HC when he was hired by the Eagles

All we can do is hope for the best and know for certainty the calling can't get too much worse

Hunh? He has been run game coordinator for a few years... worked out pretty well last year right?

You didn't like the run game last year when Barkley went over 2000 yards?

This is fair not saying Mannion won’t be successful but big difference between AR and Mannion is years coaching…. AR was still an NFL coach for what 15-16 years before becoming our HC…. Mannion just finished his 2nd season as a coach yea has playing experience but is that enough.

It's called NFL football...why are the simple things so difficult for you?
