He wanted out didn’t do crap but the one game he made a case towards other teams to get traded

If I was a star WR with no QB, I would want out too, because my pay and next contract depends on a QB throwing me the ball. But now we're stuck with the mediocre quitter QB for now, so may as well cut the cap down. I hope Hurts doesn't eff up Smitty too. Hurts will either LEARN the QB position (we can only hope) or we're going to be going through all this BS again next year. Hurts already made enough for life. He's done and you know it. I would take Foles over Hurts any day of the week now. Pity we paid this fool

You can bet Mannion is going to get AJ involved if he stays because as a former QB he understands what WR's need. Hurts has one chance at redemption and if he wants to keep playing he better take it. No side deals, no BS, do what we PAID you to do. Pretty simple

Our OL could be in for a massive shake up this offseason. Obviously now since Stout stepped down. We have Lane Johnson on the fence about retirement no guarantee he returns. The other unknown is Dickerson he was decimated by injures all of last season and battle through them to the point he isn’t even sure he will fully recover. Makes you wonder if he is considering an early retirement.

Be a massive blow if we lose 2/5th of our OL on top of Stout

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/the-eagles-just-suffered-a-huge-loss-nick-sirianni-must-be-held-accountable/vi-AA1VKEO5?ocid=winp2fptaskbarhover&cvid=6985eab5a579400fb0861f12b58a8370&ei=15 I agree that we will see if Siri has the CEO talent. His job is to make these guys mesh and tell Hurts "no side deals, you need to play for us now" Big shake up, so besides Hurts, Siri will either show us why he was hired or he will be going away. I said right away that I didn't understand why you would demote Stoutland, but this is a nice summation here by A to Z and we'll need to keep any eye out for a young DC or Schwartz could return. Big pressure on the new staff to perform out of the gate.

Agreed. I know F Johnson thinks he can start somewhere, not sure that is here, but I thought he did a nice job as a BU. I can't see paying him what Lane makes, so if he wants to start he won't be here either. That would be a loss of 2 RT's together as well as Dickerson. The good part is this is a nice line draft with nice players even into early round 4 as I see it. I would start looking at C's since Howie like to draft C's and make them G's. A guy I like alot is Dunker who is listed as a T, but would make a nice G also. Since this is probably Fangios last year(he is old and deserves to retire), we should get the CB2 as the last puzzle piece and that would be a nice secondary for whomever we hire after him. Really going to be a difficult year making all this mesh. That is on Siri now. Add to that the AJ issue, so I'm still seeing alot of O line with a nice CB2 prospect and an edge guy, but the rest should be offense. My last mock reflects exactly that, but these are going to be alot of rooks that need to play out of the gate with some rook mistakes in order. The article/vid I just posted summed up how I feel almost to the letter. Very well done IMO.. Let's see what happens. Fun days ahead bro LOL

As much as I really HATE(but I'm a hater anyhow LOL) saying it, a high draft pick for AJ could be the way to go. I don't want AJ to stay playing with a chip on his shoulder. Siri has a huge job ahead as a CEO. No more Stoutland U, he will be missed for sure. Rumor has it we want a first for AJ. I just don't see a team going that high. I'm totally against Hams 5th round call, don't see that either. JMO if AJ is going to go away I would accept a low round 2 or early 3 or something to that affect and picking up his salary. That's a big ask. Howie is great at making deals. With the all new staff, maybe it's best for our future to replace AJ now with a WR the staff can grow with IF Siri can pull it all together. Hurts job will also be on the line. he needs to play for what we paid for him, if not, this could be Hurts last year here. Put up or shut up. I hope we keep McKee, he could become QB 1 if Hurts isn't going to give us 100%. I have Drew Allar(PSU QB or pick your QB) on my mock late(maybe too late but all conjecture at this point. Getting that fairly high pick for AJ would be a boon for us really. AJ would do well in Baltimore also I believe. Interesting days ahead fans. I would really keep McKee on. If the season isn't going as planned he could well step in this year coming up. I'm still putting alot of this on Hurts

Getting Becton back would be great, that would help reduce the need to 1/5. Still big cleats to fill replacing Lane, but I'm still drafting a RT and RG and maybe even a LG as you said. To be helpful we need to get the AJ trade done BEFORE that draft, even though we'd save more after June 1, so any AJ deal would have to involve picking up salary as well as the pick. Howie will be earning his keep again LOL

The other part that might get missed is Stout development of players how many mid and late round guys undrafted guys did he turn int servicsble players if not down right starting caliber guys over his 13 years with us.

Cant expect to get another OL coach that can turn rugby player 7th round pick into an All pro LT again

Agreed, Stout was the best and still not understanding the demotion. Big blow to his ego after all he has done here

Iheanachor I like also who would make a nice RG(listed as a T)

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/DraftOrder/2026/Ravens 14 I doubt the Ravens would give for AJ, 80 is pretty late though, but we have salary to deal with, so looking at the 45 pick would be realistic

  • Author

Just looking without using the trade valuation chart. AJ and our 98 pick for Ravens 45 and pick up AJ's salary/contract balance?? Ravens would have to feel AJ has some gas in the tank left

Other teams to look at- Jags, Houston and Carolina

Report just came out that Lane and Dickerson are mulling retirement

Reports are AJ value at a fourth and a fifth round pick.

Which reports....show us please

I’ve only seen two reports on AJ Browns value… Schefter reported the the Eagles might not be willing to trade AJ for anything less then a 1st rounder and Russi said she been hearing AJ trade value at a 2nd rounder.

(see above) 2nd, possibly early 3rd if they pick up his contract(salary). Well that's where I have him, but just my own opinion. Eagles have to start high and see what comes in. Nothing unusual about that, OR the new staff talks him into staying.

But you said Hurts brought him here and you were so proud 🤣

A circle of Rosie failures. Rosie struck out on luring that WR. Hurts took it into his own hands. But then Hurts couldn’t trade him away. Rosie failed to do it. Partly because Rosie paid AJ after he knew things went south.

He’s been nothing but paid here…became a champion. Need to focus on players more concerned about being champions.

While AJ sat out…quit running routes….only played when he thought it would facilitate a trade out.,,tanked our playoff game….thats the guy you are defending

Yes like a QB that puts effort in who still wants another SB, not a sell out

Not defending anyone, explaining why he wants out, which is over your pay grade apparently since you have zero comprehension skills
