You're kidding me right if they trade for AJ Brown I have them as Superbowl favorites. Especially after already adding Romeo Dobbs too. They had Diggs last year but he's getting old and not the same WR he was. Maye was still arguably one of the best QB in the league last year. You give him 2 improvements at WR and an upgrade at guard for more protection. Not to mention 2 new safeties and a new DE to improve their defense. They have been busy in FA.

They had an easier schedule than we had in 2022. Not so next year. Lots of injury luck too. Schedule and the bullseye are a major factor.

Plus just the constant 1pm games are so much easier...that changes this year.

I suspect if the plan is to trade Brown the birds will draft a WR high in the draft.

If a good one is available that is

Denzel Boston is gettable at 23

Cant put a scheme together if your QB doesn’t like motion, doesn’t like throwing over the middle, doesn’t like under center , doesn’t want to run, wants simple concepts.

Numerous reports about HURTS!!!! But yea let’s keep blaming everyone else for Hurts nothing but excuses from his fans

Things he just didn’t do in college. Then didn’t have a coach that could teach any of it…or provide the Slot option under Siri. But did see it pop up immediately effectively under Moore in one offseason. Tells you plenty right there.

We are signing Hollywood Brown to a 1 year deal

There we go. Not a huge splash…but a decent capable option.

Interesting news ....Goedert signed to increase 2026 cap... Hollywood to one year deal...and Waddle traded for good value to Denver.

This is where you can see the environment change... a potential trade with AJ.

Look now how Howie has played it... vs say an emotional Ham who would be a brutal GM using emotion rather than a calm business approach.

Let's see what happens, everything is on the table now.

I wouldn’t have placed us in this position Rosie got us in with AJ for terrible reasons. This was a Rosie fail all the way. You can’t make him out as brilliant …on the total disaster he created on his own.

So................you were a QB, tell me how motion affected you reading defenses, getting the balls out and making the throws. Did motion change your delivery stance, or cause you to throw side arm? We provided numerous slot options, but Hurts can't find them. What was effective under Moore was RUNNING THE BALL and cutting back on Hurts passing (KISS). Hurts also ran the ball under Moore, which vanished last year under Patullo(aka Mr. side deal)

Dotson-capable, Wilson-capable. The problem with the slot is the QB seeing him as a pass option not just a decoy to be ignored(requires more than 1 read)

I think this would be a good trade. Both WR's are frustrated where they are and could use a new start. Thomas is young, only 23. 2 years in so he's not a green rookie, but a guy young enough to re-set the offense. 1282 yards his first year, that dropped off to 750 or so last year. I think both teams would be happy with this trade plus we get 2 3rd rounders THIS year. Those 3rds could be used to move up for a guy like Stowers. Thomas doesn't seem flighty like AJ. He seems more like Smitty as far as demeanor

Lots of 1` year deals

Not much else can be done. Barely even done much of that. I haven’t had time to even actually look at these contract details yet. Frankly because Rosie so predictable with how he sets these contracts up. Nine times out of ten its contracts that free up short term cap space pushing the buck down the road on the future cap. One year deals especially consistently hit the actual cap year these guys are on the field super light with the void years carrying most of the actual.

Calm down it was a joke the #3 prospect fell to me then Ty Simpson fell so I figured I'd have fun with it. Plus one of those RB are my future FB. Size and speed of Derek Henry but if he bulked up hello he could be a stud lead blocker.

Calm down it was just a joke mock

Draft talk super serious stuff in these parts….haha…honestly I pretty much just skip the million mock draft efforts on here until I formulate my own opinions more thoroughly. I’m a bit behind this draft. Gives a chance for the endless mock draft attempting posters to iron things out by the time I start paying much attention.

I do appreciate any and all efforts put into draft prep in all ways by any and all here. Don’t won’t my words to get taken the wrong way.

We won't trade him till after June 1st when it becomes much more team friendly, 27 mil more friendly. Otherwise we better be getting at least 2 1st for him. I'll take 31, 95 and next years 1st from NE.

See this whole situation Rosie created really been screwing us. Want draft picks this draft. Should have traded AJ so obviously last season. Clearly created this whole situation of a team captain being such a toxic presence. So many really miss out on the key details that really matter in becoming a champion. Like how Rosie made a point of not choosing to extend certain guys during those seasons because of the atmosphere it would have created. You know…the guys that didn’t receive the extensions…you know….

Terrible!

Rosie ego reared its head on the AJ situation. Could even argue it’s Rosie’s biggest weakness. I wouldn’t go that far myself though. Rosie’s biggest weakness is he isn’t a football guy. Ego very high on his weakness list though. Rosie proving he’d force AJ to be an Eagles. Which after paying AJ….then paying him again hand over fist…you’d think would give every reason for a player to shut up and play. Heck so especially right after making him

a champion. Not like Browns paying Garrett type situation. Sucking up …well sucking….for the bag. AJ got the bag…becoming a champion…yet disgruntled. Gotta ditch that guy immediately. Horrible organizational message that had and has been sending.

You got me laughing over here. Now Howie is to blame for everything wrong. Hurts is the man though lol. I knew we had cowboys fans on here but damn calm down.

AJ was already under contract for huge money. Everybody inside the organization knew exactly all about Hurts and AJ fallout already. Everything about Rosie throwing that extra dough to AJ after that created this whole situation.

Or….if the HC the entire time thinks he’s a quality O mind and never had a scheme put together. Heck…play design has stunk so often. Predictable plays even presnap plagued us this entire time under Siri. Even us here I’d want to believe understand you need multiple plays coming from each look. All this has proven out so extensively under Siri at this point. I was pointing it out in 2023 when our team was 10-1. Wasn’t sustainable. Yet I got piled on…because we were 10-1…those choosing to be blind to the situation were dead set on we were the best team in the league at that point. "Choosing” is the only word fitting for it. Completely glaringly obvious.

That's why we love Ham,just pure entertainment value

But yeah sure…I’ve always volunteered Hurts needed development coming out of college. The exact areas you’d expect as a result from a player having a different O every season. Hurts was learning to work with a new coach and …just flat out learning a new O. Thrived in the Spread with his unbelievable Heisman worthy season. He ended up runner up due to that record breaking Burrow season…throwing to Jefferson and Chase. Two best WRs in the NFL now. Heck both possibly within discussion of being elite all time. So what areas would that college experience leave areas underdevelopment? Hurts didn’t have that TE experience. Hurts learning focused on new O system and coaching each season left low time to ever develop further in some …what all would it be labeled as? Most just generically refer to it as reading a D shortcomings. Which covers so many so much more specific areas of the job and running the O. Which is slightly fair enough. He wasn’t under C. He didn’t utilize motion.

So yeah…that’s the QB we drafted. No rocket scientist level thinking required to link these most obvious areas he needed to be developed with.
