So hard to place his ability. He was hand picked by Mannion. Hard to grade guys when things are collapsing around you

Stowers is just a big disappointment all around, but I realize some kids take more time than others. We both wanted him,so I will let him play out. We would have been in better shape had Howie gone after Mike Mayer when I said he should, who is now a great bookend to Bowers in VegasAgain with a guy that wasn't traded and you have no idea if he was available. That's the stuff Ham used to say... " Howie isn't good because I would have traded for this particular guy or down to this particular pick" ...how do you know Howie didn't look into it and Mayer just wasn't available?

He is a great role model for the younger guys to follow, so yeah I'd resign Bark if he wants to stay. he doesn't quit on his team like some QB I won't mention. IDK many Pierce can take Shipleys job and I am a Steele fan, but only so many RB roster spots and he "steele" needs work. I like Tank as a guy that could take over post Barkley. I suspect we take a RB in the next draft someplace alsoNo shot was my reply to Sen asking if I thought Baun had 5 more awesome years left after turning 30 this December

Until we get Smitty and Wicks back on the field. Then they need to get the chemistry going. O line needs to be solidified which we all have said. I was disappointed in the defense vs Dullaz. It just did not look like a Fangio D. Williams ran amok on us. The TD's passes were spot on by Dak, actually the coverage was good, but you can't give QB's 12 seconds to throw, they will dime you to death and Dak did. No sacks, no QB hurries, ran through us like swiss cheese. Very disappointing play. What else stood out was how horrible the tackling was. ST's tackling stinks too. Grennard needs to crank it up too. Remember it was 21-20, then we let them score 18 unanswered points. Just a horrible game. We need to win the next 2. We can still win this lame division, but we put ourselves in a bad spot. I'm not going to lose games on purpose for a better pick. I think we will lose enough for a DECENT pick, so as a fan I'm not selling out just yet. See where we are at the bye. I'm not bailing out yet, we've all been in tough times before. We just need to get guys back IMO

Selecting Bowers put everyone else at TE on the back burner. Everyone is for sale if the price is right. Maybe Howie tried IDK

Maybe if he gets healthy things will look better. Likely not going to be a piece for us in 2028 image that when we get things turned back around

I mean Bark should probably have not played, but he tried and he kept us in the game. Missing Bark in the second 1/2 hurt us alot. I had high hopes for this team if we could have remained at full strength, why like alot of fans I'm not ready to toss in the towel yet. Every guy that heals up will just make us better. Still not even 1/2 way through the season.. We were at 21-20,so it's not like we weren't in that game. Dullaz did a nice job of taking us apart and exploiting weaknesses. I hate them with a passion, but gotta give credit where it's due. If we win all the other divisional games who knows? maybe we peak at the right time. The NFCE is still anyones game. yeah we dug ourselves a hole, but we're more beat up than most other teams. We have our 3 "stars" out Bark,Smitty and Wicks. get those back and add in Lemon who is on the upswing and who knows?
