And the secondary playing off 10 yards again doesn't tell us much except that we are giving away free yardage

This D shouldnt be better than it was in 2017.  Cox was a dominant stud.  Jernigan was excellent... we had depth behind those guys ... The depth at DE with Graham, Curry, Barnett and Long.  The LBs, the safeties.   Not close.  

I'm not a Slay or Maddox guy.  Mitchell is a rookie... CJGJ is good, not great and Blankenship is solid, not what Malcom Jenkins was.  

Lets just get the rest his week and heal up.  Go on a nice run here after the bye and we should be ok.

can we judge without AJ?     look at the games without him compared to with him.    Our real team hasn't been here yet.

I never said not to pay a RB  said I would not OVERPAY one. We did not overpay Barkley did we? And yes O line matters in the running game. Nice deflection off Hurts failures though kudos

Not considering injuries and depth is a flaw in your logic. Definitely something I was considering about this team.
