He isn’t going to get more unless you are really stupid and pay him more than the Broncos are on the hook for. And he hasn’t shown a lot the last 2 years. And he’s not getting younger. And. And. And. The contract portion, no matter what team signs him, will be for league minimum for the 2024 portion. Any team offering more would be morons. I'm confused... if he is already getting paid from the Broncos....isn't the next contract he gets going to be " new " money? Like in addition? Why wouldn't any team offer more than just a league minimum? Why does the Broncos contract have to do with anything?
March 7, 20241 yr Mutual interest between Philly and Barkley… Likely won’t get paid as much but could see it as a chance to compete for a contender along with coming home to PA. Wouldn’t shock me if he took a slight discount
March 7, 20241 yr Curious what we do in the secondary think us getting Gardner Johnson back is MASSIVE. Still think we end up moving Bradberry think Slay stays though…. also would not shock me if we bring back Maddox on the cheap said there was interest in both parties for a possible return on a new deal
March 7, 20241 yr Author https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10111820-2024-nfl-draft-big-board-br-nfl-scouting-depts-post-combine-rankings My guy Chop ranked at 20 post combine. Tampa at 36 which would take him away as my 50 pick 😞 Trotter is there for the 52 pick however,so 2 outta 3 aint bad. Ray Davis at 91,so he comes off my mock(not gettable) so I'm going with Cody Schrader(I think he's a steal in round 5)

( one more year of Slay) CJGJ.... idk... I think might be just talk.
March 7, 20241 yr Author Updated mock 1-22 Chop Robinson(move up if you need to) 2-50- Kamari Lassiter-CB-Georgia(we love Georgia players) 2-53- Edgerrin Cooper-LB-Tex A&M 3-97-Malik Washington-WR-Virginia(a bit of a reach but a long wait until our next pick) 5-159- Beau Brade-S- Maryland 5-169-Layden Robinson-IOL-Tex A&M(TBH I haven't checked him out yet but I will) 5-170- Brevan Spann-Ford-TE-Minnesota(mentioned before) 5-176-Luke McCaffrey-WR-Rice(I need to check him out also) 6-188-Cory Schrader-RB-Mizz This cover some holes we have with immediate starters and provdes some nice prospects for future spots

March 7, 20241 yr Author https://www.nfl.com/prospects/layden-robinson/3200524f-4261-7155-7352-5ca27cf72de8 I find him a bit more iffy. He would need to go the extra mile in the learning curve. I will look for someone else at that pick because he would need extensive coaching. I think he should hire a private coach for a year. I can't see us wasting this much coaching time on him. He's not a bad player, but he needs too much training IMO. If there is nobody better I would take him,but as I said I think we can do better. The fact he only participated in 2 drills at the combine, none involving his speed or quickness tells me he is a pass,so I will cross him off and re-open the spot
March 7, 20241 yr Author I will replace him with this LB from ND. With some coaching he could be a nice LB steal

A reason to potentially pass on drafting a LB exponentially decrease if Rosie actually pays any fair wage to a LB.

Two things that are equal and at the very top of importance - He's already getting a boatload of money and he's 35 years old. Not real old, but possibly past his prime.
March 7, 20241 yr Was Randall Cunningham the Eagles best ever second round pick? Or is it going to be Starboy Hurts?
