Well, Douglas is pretty much toast here because he can’t play inside and out.  Wouldn’t want to see NRC or Leblanc playing much outside.  Makes Maddox and Jones a good fit with Slay.

I think this NFL season will be like driving a Maserati that can’t go over 20 mph

That’s bigly

The 2019 Eagles offense?

I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of high end prospects sit out the season. Why risk a Covid Or injury on a season that might not even start or finish. Plus I also think it works in their advantage to only have limited amount of tape because if you play more and you get hurt or you don’t play as well as the season before it’s going to be used against you. More poking and prodding your game. Kind of like what happened to Luka Doncic. Nba teams got more and more film on him. Bigger scouting report and it worked against him. If he was able to come out the year earlier he likely would’ve been the top choice

Yea, it makes sense. He’s already considered a top 10 pick and best LB prospect so why risk it on some sham season that will probably be start and stop, and could lead to injury? Playing in spring makes even less sense for guys like that. Anyone with a first round grade should really consider just preparing for the combine well ahead of time

Just watched the Cardinals game highlights.

-I dislike McNabb quite a bit now but he spoiled us with some great, yet frustrating QB play.  He put on a superb performance on a broken ankle.

-AR did McNabb no service with the weapons around him.  Goodness.  Antonio Freeman and Dorsey Levens past their primes.  Pinkston and Thrash.  Loved the Thomason T and all he did was catch TD's but he was nothing as a threat as a second TE.  Granted it was a different game.

-Pretty cool to see them try to get BWest involved in the early stages of his career.  Some unique plays for him.

-Levon Kirkland and Blaine Bishop...pretty sure those 2are a big reason for no SB that year.

Those AR teams were the height of my football interest however.  Training camp was still at Lehigh, I still got Eagles Digest in the mail, NFL Primetime and John Madden were still relevant and I was just turning 21 so going out with buddies for beer, wings and football was a reality.  It was still football as I knew it before ticky tack rule changes, big shoulder pads, fullbacks, there was no social media to worry about with hashtag this or twitter that,  and no social justice nonsense.  I still love the Eagles but nothing like that stretch from 2000-2008.

if they play in the spring it makes even less sense with the draft so close. If I’m Trevor Lawrence there’s no way in hell I would play a game in the spring semester with the draft a couple months away. Heck any player who is going to be drafted or thinks they are gonna be drafted in the first two rounds I wouldn’t play. A significant injury then you might not even played the next season in the NFL coming back from injury and your stock is gonna drop dramatically. Wayyy too close to the draft and loss of potential money is too much in the spring.

a few miles down rt 15 you come in to lewisburg. they have some stuff because of Bucknell  University.

Reptiland was good for what it is. Its fairly small but well worth the price of 12 dollars for kids. It was clean. And the giftshop was the most reasonably priced zoo gift  shop Ive seen.

Is there a reason to do fantasy leagues this year? My league wanted to start back up with a $100 buy in. That’s taking gambling to a new level.

Takin the immediate draft out of it and its very possible that a junior could blow a knee out the 1st game of the Spring and miss their entire Junior and Senior seasons.

I really don’t think college football should be played in the fall.

Went upscale yesterday. Hit Clyde Peelings Reptiland and then had lunch at Jersey Mike's. So good.

I took the kids there when they were young. It was okay nothing overly exciting.

UConn has a football team?

Who knew?

Question for the knowledgeable. If a college player opts out and the team goes forward with the season, does he lose his scholarship? On the one hand, he is withholding his services; on the other it is for a good if amorphous medical reason.

Seems to be a number of "false positives", and not just in the NFL.

This is wrong, but funny.

Infect one player with the less lethal coronavirus and have them kiss every one on the team. Wait 2 weeks. PLAY BALL!
