This is an opportunity for us to get into regular season form as well.

Please be objective and fact-based as much as possible and leave the political spin to the talking heads on cable news.

It's been a long, difficult few months.  Let's make this a safe and enjoyable space.

Go Birds!

A new day...a new blog!

Shane Falco vs. Johnny Utah would be a game for the ages.  Both quarterbacks were tough as nails and great leaders.  I never liked Shane Falco's throwing form however.  In the end, Utah blows out his knee, Joe Kane, the former Heisman Hopeful from Eastern State University comes in and defeats Falco.

New blog. This is clean.

Johnny Utah was an all-time great but for his knee.

The funny part about the storyline in "The Replacements" is that Falco had one bad college game in that Sugar Bowl and then never got an opportunity with a pro team? If he was as good quarterback, one bad game wouldn't sink his entire future and career. I know it's Hollywood, but I always thought that was a funny part that didn't make sense.

Maybe an Eagles fan made the decisions. We are ready to dump the QB between the snap and pass during the season. 😉

I know it's nuanced, but there are two safeties on the field and Reed / Dawkins played different positions.

One can be the GOAT at box (strong) safety and the other at free safety.

Utah was multi dimensional.  But his taste in women was suspect.

Curious to see how does thar comes into play with his madden rating?

There is a stamina rating, I think Lori Petty would be a firecracker and could go all night.  Utah was worn down from living the surfing life, fighting crime with the FBI and keeping Gary Busey fed.  He wouldn't be able to keep up with her.

I was considering Paul Blake but he would just be too old.

I thought that his confidence was shot after that. Maybe he didn't want to play anymore? I mean I would gladly play a position and suck at it and get paid a couple of mil, but some guys have pride.

What's missing in this photo?  This was used for the All-Eagles team.
