With the Guice move I wouldn’t be surprised if The Football Team signs Devonta Freeman tomorrow

The PMRC.

Wasnt a fan of curry signing last year not a fan this year.

Odd that chris longbretired after the eagles said they were going to cut his reps in favor of the young guys then keep resigning 30+ Curry.

Id much rather have Chris Long if were gonna keep going with inexpensive rotational Vet DEs.

Eh maybe.  They have a healthy stable of running backs.  AP is ageless.  Antonio Gibson out of Memphis was a steal in the draft if you ask me.  I really like him as a player.  They still have Bryce Love who is a total wild card.  Flat out stud at Stanford who got hurt late in his last season.  Peyton Barber is serviceable.

I'm not. They have 5 ahead of him, already traded him once, and then he bounced around on the PS last year when he was needed. Plus they gave Williams more guaranteed money than any other UDFA so that's potentially 6 ahead of him.

Speaking of which, Williams better jump at #90 now that its open if he wants to make this team

Yeah, but we don't know who is making it through camp uninjured and with Covid they could lose 2-4 people at once.

Going back to my analysis of Vinny Curry they know what they have in Hector.  He's a 4th DT at best in the league, he might get snatched up but I doubt it.  They can bring him back to the PS later in the year if need be.  They have Raiquon(sp) Williams who is a much more talented, albeit different style, of player.

Yeah, but this year they can't have enough....at least until the end of "camp".

True. I’m not sure he moves the needle enough for any other team to sign him though.

One less thing to worry about week 1 vs Football team

Trey Lance has an interesting decision to make.

I forgot he's a 2nd round 2018 from Skins.

He tore his ACL in the first game of the 2018 season and tore his meniscus in September 2019 but came back later that season only to have an MCL sprain to take him out in December

Seems injury prone and now may go to jail

Is it a game changer for our country to get out of this hell hole or just a game changer for us to watch football on TV?

Wasn’t there rumor the Eagles would have drafted him except he went at it with Roseman in his pre-draft interview?

Dude works harder than the people around him and it's not just fans. The players seem to love him as well, so there must be something there. Rooting for him, but who knows if he makes it. If he does he will have earned it.

Oh yea that’s right. But wasn’t it Duce?

After the gov recommended no school sports till January, PIAA met with him, and what came of that was, continued meetings to try to convince him and DOH that theyve come up with a plan that is raeasonably safe.

In the meantime, they will allow voluntary pre-season practices to continue. And have pushed back the official start of fall sports 1 week to the 24th (that makes a 2 week delay for football).

With that done, it sounds like our health system will be using us in the clinic and when not needed in the ortho clinic, we will also be in other locations preforming pre-surgical COVID tests. Almost feels like another "re-deployment".  To be determined if its short term or if it gets extended till January like the governor recommended.

Gotta love the uncertainty.

It's been completely mystifying to me too. He was hyped a bit in training camp in '18 and then did almost nothing in the preseason games to make a positive impression. Spends the year, as I recall, on the practice squad. Then in '19, he injures his knee in camp and doesn't even play in the preseason. And yet fans are still excited about him. It surely seems to me that it's based entirely on some Spadaro-esque (not saying him directly but rather from the media in general) praise rather than on actually watching the guy play football.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Curry doesn't even make the team. I think it's time to turn the page there.

Curry’s contract is fully guaranteed. I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t make it

Par the course. I don’t think there’s been anything with certainty this whole year

I'm just thinking it'll be fun seeing a guy roughly JMac's size out there rocking the 18 again. JMac was pretty good when healthy. But wait. It gets better. He'll be lining up with #10 himself. Wow.

That's what I remember hearing.

Glad the Eagles didnt draft him.

The Curry addition shouldn’t come as a surprise.  Their rotation requires 4 DE’s.

In a COVID shortened offseason, all the young DEs are unknowns at best or unseasoned and untrustworthy at worst.

Not to mention...they have 3 DEs Schwartz is willing to put on the field.  One is 32 and the other 2 have major injury and durability concerns.  Behind them, there is Shareef Miller, who it seems they never liked (there were whispers he almost didn’t make the team as a rookie 4th round pick).  Avery couldn’t dress for the Browns or for us and is a pure situational rusher.

They are going to need Curry.   While he may not provide much of a rush, he knows what he needs to do here and will hold his gap.
