I forget the year...2014( me thinks) Where we had no chance of getting into the playoffs but still decided to bust our asses and beat the giants in week 17, hurting our draft position. Guess i'm really not a fan because I was praying for the Giants to blow us out

Are you guys serious? Agholor is a 5 year veteran and in only 1 of those years did he play like capable, productive, nfl wide receiver. 3 of the other years, he played like a guy who shouldn’t be in the nfl as a wide receiver. And in the other year (2018), he was basically Greg ward of last year.

so yes, I would be surprised if he "looked good” (or however you quantify that) and so should anybody else who followed his pro career.

2018 and 2017 were both productive seasons.  If he had done that last season, he might still be on the team.

Yup that was 2014. I was on the fence. While i thought it would have been nice to have a higher draft pick i thought the win was more important.but hey it all worked out in the end👍

2018 wasnt productive. As stated he was highly inconsistent and his stats were padded by a bunch of 5 yard receptions. He had 6 games under 10 yards per catch and 3 games under 5 yards per catch. Thats atrocious😕

2017 was the only year he was productive and even then the stats are skewed by a few big plays wentz made scrambling around for 10 seconds and hitting a wide open agholor. At least he caught those😒

Good one dude.

Thanks. I'm just still sitting here enjoying winning the super bowl 3 years after that horrendous blow to our draft choices when we beat the gints. Yeah, Phew that was a close one.

I hope some day we can win the draft bowl as well for little sod busters like yourself, hang in there champ.

Feel like everyone in 2017 benefitted from wentz’s ability to scramble around and make plays that year. Wentz was mvp so really everyone benefitted from that type of play. I gave agholor credit for that year. He was phenomenal on that last drive of the Super Bowl. The Eagles do not win that Super Bowl without some of his catches and some great throws by Nick Foles to him on that drive. The only thing I can complain about agholor and that Super Bowl was running out of bounds instead of staying in bounds on the last drive.

Ive only been here 2 years now and ive found that Kansasites dont take kindly to Wizard of Oz jokes, not sure why its like their only claim to fame. I do enjoy a lets get out of dodge reference, though they arent as quick to laugh about that one either😝

Yup he was pretty good in 2017. He was still just a slot receiver but he was an explosive slot receiver who could and did make plays down the field. 2017 was what people when drafted him envisioned he could be. Sadly he never reached those heights again nor do i doubt he will again.

I doubt he gets there again. Frankly with him it’s all mental and until he works that out mentally he’ll never be consistent. Maybe it was playing in philly he couldn’t deal with it but I’m doubting that highly.

Yup, the dude has all the physical talent in the world. Hes got sufficent size speed quickness but hes got a ten cent head and its inexplicable that a pro receiver cant track a deep ball its just mind boggling.😵

To many excuses for the guy.  Your job is to catch the football, and he has done it in spurts.  He is just a mental midget.

At that price, trade Zach Ertz in March. No thanks to 13+M for 30 year old TE (November).

Yup trade Ertz extend goedert who can actually block to a reasonable extension

Love Ertz but in no way is he worth 15 mil a year.

With limited coverage of training camp, we are going to have a hard time knowing who is really looking good.

Don’t we always have limited coverage in training camp anyway?

So you think some type of wile butterfly effect of picking 8 picks earlier would throw everything off.

Ok flat earther. I think having Vic Beasley instead of Agholar would of helped win us 3 superbowls.

No, I think you are silly. Point is we won the super bowl and that game so who cares  where we picked the year after blowing out the giants?  BTW who the eff is Agholar?

Not sure how vic beasley and agholor have anything to do with eachother but beasley has been an under achiever as well

I'm sure after we beat the Giants in a meaningless game that caused us to drop 8-10 draft positions you we're thrilled. GTFO

would love to see how you react after winning a meaningless week 4 presason game 12-3

Oh noeszzzzz we didn't win the draft bowl that year that's for sure.............................................................

5 minutes ago, Bacarty2 said:

This, but you're going to have to trade him now if you want to get any value IMO

You’re assuming there’s less value in Zach Ertz playing on this team this year then they get from a potential one round higher of a pick In a draft where we don’t know what’s gonna happen

3 of Vic Beasley's 5 seasons he has 4, 5 and 5 sacks.
