So Peters is back, Barnett just has a sprain, Hargrave doesn't have a tear, Dillard apparently was never hurt (even though I read at least 2 blurbs yesterday saying he was).  It's clear the Eagles 1st day of pads also included the media's (and team's official outlets in certain ways) 1st bunch of over-reactions and doomsday tweets.

Based on what we've seen, yeah Day 3 looks appropriate.

However, he was consensus Day 2 going into the draft.  Big program, lots of production, decent measurables. 

Further, a few plays he did make last year flashed some of the skills they thought they were getting (e.g. the third down catch against the Giants and the first catch against the Cowboys).  Similar to Agholor, you can see the tools. Just can he stay healthy and put it all together.

Yeah saw that too.  Hopefully he has a solid/nice year but we may never know if he'd be really good.  Maybe this is what he is injury or not.  But also its possibly that Achilles injury before the draft really screwed him up for good.

He seems to be ahead of Hightower in the pecking order. His name is coming up way more often too.

Hopefully this isn’t just the usual lower string WR looking good during camp, guy.

It's true.  Agholor was a very good slot receiver in 2017 for the Eagles.  He led the team in 3rd down conversions.

Can someone report if Wentz is licking his fingers before every snap.  That was a huge story with quarterback habits.

 

The fact that Maddox is slated as the first starter at #2 CB is not good news for Sidney.  Maybe not his fault, and he can impress enough to earn it.  But with no preseason games, he's got nowhere to do so.

It's possible he only gets his chance midway through the season if there are injuries to guys in front of him.

Not if he does it before every snap. If it’s just before passing, then yeah.

Or Maddox plays like he did last season at outside CB, and Jones is in his spot by Week 3
