Eh, Will Parks isn't exactly a use everywhere positionless talent.  And Jim Schwartz, solid DC that he may be, does not have a good track record of moving DBs around the field to maximize their talents.  That has probably proven to be his biggest weakness as a DC.

So I don't think lining up a middling talent "everywhere" is going to end well.

Carter Hart.  Back to back PLAYOFF SHUTOUTS.

Turned 22 last week.

Beast.

Meaning Hart, not the Habs fan.

That’s kind of a **** thing for Dallas to do. I hope it hurts them trying to recruit FAs in the future.

I don't get how someone like that is on 2 different practice squads and only brought up because of RB injuries.  What are coaches and scouts looking at?  His quickness and change of direction is special, and he's thick with a low center of gravity.

I think lining Parks up everywhere is more about seeing what he can do vs. Mills in Jenkins' previous role in the defense.  I think the biggest weakness since the Super Bowl is disguising coverages and frankly having any kind of quality at CB.

I am taking just 2 things out of the practices so far...

1.  Derek Barnett's stock is down.  He has always been injury prone.  There is a camp that defends him on the field and a camp that does not like him.  Both would agree that this is his put up or shut up year.  Starting training camp with a "multi-week" injury that will go down to the week 1 wire with Vinny Curry (unemployed just days ago) now playing with the 1's is a bad look for Barnett and a bad look for the defense.  That 5th year option isn't looking so hot.

2.  Quez Watkins stock is way up.  Right after the draft, his odds of making the team were not looking good.  They carpet bombed the WR position with additions.  They had a veteran speedster in Goodwin, a 1st round pick speedster, and another in Hightower, who was drafted earlier.  He was the early favorite for either the practice squad stash or IR hangnail.  Fast forward to camp, Alshon is unavailable and JJAW is JJAW, so Reagor is out of the way because he's starting at X.  Goodwin opted out.  Watkins seems to have jumped ahead of Hightower early with some of those deep grabs from Wentz.  Desean's durability (oxymoron there) is the only thing between Watkins and the primary Z WR.  Quez Watkins, welcome to the 2020 Eagles roster.

Reagor is a first round pick who, in addition to his hyped-up speed, has the frame, quickness, and strength to run the full route tree and be a higher volume WR.  I love him at X.  After the draft, I was really hoping we'd see Reagor at X with everyone else (Hightower/Goodwin/Watkins) competing for the right to replace Desean as the Z wr when he gets injured.  And that's exactly what is shaping up.

I'd like to see JJAW compete with Ward in the slot, but it usually takes the Eagles 2 years to transition their WR busts to the slot, so look for that in 2021.  Ward may walk unchallenged into the role as the primary guy in the slot.

I like the Ostman hype. He was sounding like a very promising player last year till the injury. Would love to see what they had in mind for him.

Doing 700 push ups a day is not even close to efficient. It's not going to stimulate any type of physiological adaptations at that volume and that low an intensity.

It's impressive from a consistency standpoint but that's about it. He benches less than I do and I do 0 push ups.

Throwing science words around a statement that anyone with less than beginner knowledge on fitness doesn't help you out dude.  Huge difference between functional fitness and working your glamour muscles.

All those push ups and he did 225 for 17. Me with 0 push ups per week has done 225 for 20. We're the same height and weight.

Idgaf about Hershel Walker

Idgaf about some random a** drill instructor

They offer NO benefit to his muscular endurance and strength when they're so easy you can do 700 a day. Go head and argue with me again morons.

no one is arguing with you. just laughing at you.

Someone go find me any type of scientific study showing significantly below submaximal weight, ridiculously high volume training results in any statistically significant muscular hypertrophic growth or strength gains.

You have to wonder how patient the Eagles are going to be with JJAW.  If this injury lingers can they afford to keep him if the others are out there performing?  I've stated my case for Ward and feel he is the slot WR.  Reagor and DJack on the outside with the 2 other rookie burners backing up.  Burnett and Davis showed speed and hands last year, enough to intrigue me and Killens blazing speed coudl make him a surprise 6th WR.  The wildcard is Alshon who apparently looks like he will be on the team for the whole year.  I honestly just don't see room for JJAW, especially if he is hurt and doesn't overwhelm anyone.

DJack

Reagor

Ward

Hightower

Watkins

Burnett/Davis/Killens

Maybe you can trade him for another player that has disappointed, I doubt you’re getting any good pick for him...

I didn't understand this at all until I re-read that fine print in the first sentence on the tweet.  Wow.  His deal was for 3 years $18.3 mil with the $3 mil signing bonus (which he keeps) and $9 mil guaranteed.  Dallas puts a freakin clause in the contract if he hurts his quad.  That's honestly brilliant by their front office.  And it makes me sick to type that.
