Just think.  Sixers could have had Kemba Walker, Jimmy Butler and Jason Tatum on the court tonight instead of watching Tobias Harris shrink and Embiid tap out in the 4th.

True. Let's see if Kemba torches tonight (probably) but he didn't have a good game at a game 1.

That article from a few days ago showing our team if we actually made 0 trades or free agent signings since 2017 is the ultimate kick in the balls.

I'm a 6ers hater. The way the media and our local guys shove Bball down our throats I couldnt careless if they never played another game.

So when I see the "process" getting more attention then the #1 seed Flyers, a team about to move on, I just laugh

That's because no one cares about hockey. More NBA fans. Never used to hear much about the Soul either.

I think about it a lot... we were so close to having a super team dynasty with 3 homegrown stars instead we will be the 1st/2nd round playoff exit for years.

Maybe they will get it right in "Trust the Process.......Deuce"

With Brett Brown coaching, the destination is still the same

I've been saying this for months on here about Greg Ward.  No, he didn't blow us away with his performance last year but what he did do is prove he can play and the confidence he gained is such a huge step in becoming a better WR this year.

Well - 2 wrongs don't make a right but 3 lefts do!

Interesting tidbit.  In an interest to save gas, UPS worked to eliminate left turns as much as possible from its routes. When looking at their accident results they realized their accidents had decreased and the severity of accidents.  Left turns, well any turns against oncoming traffic, are a serious cause of major accidents.  Their accidents with motorcycles decreased as well.

Wrong.  Listening to WIP this morning.  They did a poll on fan interest, I guess on Twitter.  Flyers 3-1 over the Eagles (which will change when games actually start). Then Phillies and the Sixers came in dead last.  YOU don’t care about hockey. We know because it’s another one of your dead horses.  But people care.

Poorly thought out interpretation of the poll. Local fans will follow the local team who is winning more.  Right now that's flyers.

Still,  more NBA fans. No one really bares about hockey.  You got a lot of front runners mixed in that poll who don't even normally follow.

You don't have a poll that tells you what's more popular. It's what's trendy now.

Who Fing cares? What part of he's not training to out bench you don't you get? Any excuse to brag about yourself huh?

This guy is bragging how much he pushes 225.  I push 240 every time I stand up, which is more than 20 times a day.

He is actually kind of correct, nobody cares about Penguins hockey.

The last few pages of this thread are just pure gold. We have a dude trolling a professional athlete, who was just taken in the first round of the NFL draft, for his workout . Others giving lessons on how to construct a better insult. And finally, a pinch of political mudslinging. 🤣

Watch this from like the 6:50 mark on.  Lillard is within range 10-12 feet outside of the 3 point line.

Sounds like not much of a news day

I was just going to send my dreidel or kippah

BTW I incorrectly stated the other day if it rains and practice is inside, no reporters are allowed in to watch. In that scenario, there are two reporters who are tested everyday, that would be allowed inside to watch practice as pool reporters. One is Zach Berman, not sure who the other one is.

Living downtown for almost 10 years I'd argue the Flyers are pretty clearly the second most popular team in the city. Can't speak for the fans in the surrounding areas but as far as seeing jerseys, game day excitement, crowded bars watching the games they were a pretty clear #2 after the Eagles. And it's not like they've been consistently better than the Phillies and Sixers over that time period.

I dunno maybe I could buy that there are more total Phillies and Sixers fans because it's a more nationally popular sport? Just didn't see the same level of passion/intensity in the city itself.

I’m not really sure why people thought Tobias Harris was going to be what he was on the Clippers on the Sixers. He’s always been on bad teams/mediocre teams and he always shines on bad/mediocre teams as the top guy Cause he could do whatever as no expectations and giving him the green light to do whatever. As soon as he went to a winner unless he was like the fourth option he wasn’t going to be good enough to deserve the contract they gave him. we saw it last playoffs he was good like two games in the rest of the time he was trash.

there’s a reason why Jerry West was willing to trade him at the deadline last year and only give him a super lowball contract to sign him long-term. Jerry West is one of the best in the business and if Jerry West doesn’t really think he’s good enough to win a title with then you probably shouldn’t either.

like HE said, Look at the sixers teams if they never made trades it’s a much better squad then this trash horford and harris additions from what they gave up.

I’m glad some of these rooks are looking good but doing well in camp is nothing like real game speed.

I have no concerns with Miles Sanders. He's getting the Westbrook "bubble wrap" treatment.

Too good not to post

I guess Honda civics are better than a Bugatti since theres a lot more Civics on the road.
I dont mind that hockey is a niche sport. It's still hysterical how the media considers Ben Simmons gf a main focal point of the show lol

Your analogy is irrelevant.  What thre point is,  is that you'll find more informational resources on civics and get more news about them.  More people care about them than the bugatti.

Listen dingus.  You just said "people don’t care about hockey”.  I presented proof that you are wrong.  (Again).   Did I say the NHL is more popular than the NBA?!  No.  I said you were wrong.  Cause people care and now your changing the story.  Again, right now....people care.  Talk about poor interpretations.

You are so good at being wrong.
