Sanders is out week-to-week!  Why this team can't get away from injuries?  This is TC and not supposed to have a lot of tackling.

What makes something tough?  Being amongst the 99.9% best at a competitive sport has a difficulty that is based on the size of the denominator.  The bigger the denominator, the harder it is to be the best at it.

Physically abusive sport?  Well, that's boxing/mma.  Behind that is probably American football, not rugby or hockey.

With pads and helmets.  Aussie Rules is the hardest hitting sport on the planet.

i love that sheet

Playing it growing up was fun and dangerous.  The summer before I moved to the States, a kid in our under 14 league had his 4 front teeth knocked out.

That was from the fake Schefter Twitter account.

The only tougher sport is boxing. There is no faster sport.

Especially the way it used to be played when I was growing up in the late 70s/early 80s.  I used to always try for the Gordie Howe hat trick — one goal, one assist, one fight.  I learned to try to do the fight last; a long fight could sap your energy for the rest of the game.

Went to a Red Sox game when Yaz was still playing. I'm 6'5" and I was miserable in my seat. Went and stood at the top of the steps and one of the ushers told me I had to sit. I said, "I don't fit," and he had mercy on me. Never going back.

I went to Fenway once, about thirty years ago. We drove five hours to watch a Red Sox-Indians game. Not only was my seat cramped (and I'm not even a big guy), but my seat which was in the general vicinity of the Pesky pole faced towards centerfield. So I had to turn my body to actually watch the pitcher and batter. Had to do that for more than four hours because the game went fourteen innings. Then about another five hour drive home. An exhausting, uncomfortable day.

Rugby and Aussie Rules Football are not the same thing.  Aussie Rules moves as fast as the NBA and Hockey and they hit just as hard while wearing tank tops and shorts.

My other favorite thing, no PI.  If you want the ball, you go get it.

I can't tell if half the time you say the opposite of what others on here say just to get people riled up.  What makes the MLB experience amazing?  I've had some of my best naps at Phillies games sitting in the 97 degree heat.  Baseball is definitely a fun in the summer, something to do.  I think if you live in a city like St. Louis or eve Baltimore where the ballpark is smack dab in the middle of the night life it would be eve better.  For me to drive 2 hours, deal with traffic, parking and the rest to sit in the sun for 3 hours of baseball is just too much of a chore.

An under the event to attend is the NCAA Lacrosse Final 4.

Just go watch the Revolution, Barnstormers or Senators.  As good of baseball and in those stadiums, you can actually see the game.  I would much rather watch minor league baseball than Major League Baseball.

I can't get in to Revs games and I used to be able to walk to the stadium.  I loved Senators games more for the atmosphere in the island but those May Flies sure can ruin an evening.

F = MA

Aussie Rules is certainly not harder hitting than 245 lb linebackers who run like track athletes into Saquon Barkley.

Although, I appreciate the fact those guys are tough as nails.

Lombarid and Solak both got played by that.

It's not just F = MA though.  It's (F)x reps.  How often/repetitive the impacts are...very, very important/bad.  That's where American Football gets bad.  The volume of collisions is much worse than hockey, for example, even if the highlight impacts are comparable.

The real test is evaluating a bunch of 10 year vets of the sport at age 50.  It's not what the collisions look like.

Makes sense. They have extra picks and douglas wants to build the trenches and get a pass rusher.

And he will instantly make that team better and be the high profile player they desire. Almost makes too much sense to happen

Sucks for Yannick if true. One dumpster fire to the next.

I really think the Eagles are employing a lot of bubble wrap. I watched the TC live broadcast today and he was dancing around.  No limp in his walk.

They probably want to get the undrafted guys in there more and lower round draft picks since there is no preseason

They had a high profile player and he hated it it there. As does everyone else on the jets cause their coach is a jackarse

Makes sense? They gave up a guy for picks who wanted money to get another guy who wants money on a one year deal.

Bunch of prepubescent teens in here arguing over which sport is "tougher”.

Honestly, the "toughest” sport imo, long distance running. I know many of you won’t consider it a sport but it comes down to whoever has the highest tolerance for pain.
