It seemed like a nice move, but I also don't think we can read too much into 1 vs 1 drills.  Hard to know what kind of coverage Slay is running.

Saw Killins next to DJax and he makes DJax look big.  I have trouble buying he is two pounds heavier than DJax.  Makes Marcus Green look jacked.  I think it was yesterday that mentioning Killins, Spads made reference to Lorenzo Booker.   Maybe  JR or Afan might get the reference but Booker always made me think of the Firesign Theater line, "He’s no fun, he fell right over.”  A finger touch could bring Booker down. I worry that in the NFL, Killins would be just like that. And Booker was like 200 pounds.  I just don’t see the center of gravity size in Killins that you see in Scott, for example.

A lot of hightower noise today. If Howie hit on this draft and we get good return from these rookie weapons the outlook of the next 4 years changes drastically.

I wouldn't read too much into it yet. It's nice to see them get some positive reports but it doesn't mean much until you see it on game-day. Remember JJAW had like 8 receptions for 100 yards and a TD in the Baltimore preseason game last year.

Practice reps have always been set up to favor offense in some drills and defense in other drills.  He is also playing one on one without the rest of the defense.  I would not read to much into it.

I was the biggest Foles supporter after Wentz got hurt, but in Morris' defense, Foles did look like hot garbage in that week 17 game, and Sudfeld looked quite a bit better.  I was a little worried.

They have been lucky with their skill position players not getting injured. Tyron Smith is their Jason Peters, also hurt somehow and missing games here and there. Same with Sean Lee. LVE has a bum neck and missed a chunk of last year and they lost their young all pro Center in the prime of his career.

If you ask their fans they'd say the Cowboys had more injuries than the Eagles last year.  Hard to believe but I think it's true.  Only problem is besides Vanderesch, all their other injuries were to 3rd and 4th string guys that nobody really knows.

If Slay struggles then I think we have to look at Schwartz's scheme and maybe that's the issue with CB play.

He’s doing 1v1 reps against track stars in drills that favor the WR. We want our receivers to be able to win here. It’s a good sign for them, not a bad sign for Big Play Slay.
