Again those two do work. And there might be more situations where examples can be given where it didn’t work. We don’t have that information privy from teams draft discussions.  So saying well history had two examples, well history could also have the opposite. We just don’t have that info to prove or disprove. Again why i initially states i wouldn’t use history as a example of how it never works or a given to work  Both would be ridiculously incorrect.

OP was ridiculous for saying it never works. That’s ridiculous cause there’s cases where it has. however it would be just as ridiculous to think It’s a given to be successful because Hos and Steve young worked out when there’s also cases likely where it went the opposite way.

That is the rationalization used, but in my opinion that’s not the reality.  That’s just not how it works with human beings involved.  By design, everyone cannot be happy with the situation.  A good "backup” QB strategy would have been to keep Sudfeld as they did and sign someone else to compete.  Use a 2nd round pick on someone who can be a starter for the team.

When I reflect on the Hurts pick the best comparison I have is when the team cut Desean Jackson in the middle of his prime with at least 2 years left on his contract, following and 80+ catch season.  It would be great if the team just avoided doing things that defy logic and reason and just make decisions following a sound process.

No. Hedging against your franchise QB getting injured is the point. To go a step further with the Eagles and their cap situation, signing some stiff QB who's not good enough to start in a QB-starved league and paying him a small bundle is way more expensive that drafting a guy and having him for four years at a very modest price. His value to the team will go up every year. It's not just this year. Do you really think Wentz will go four years without getting dinged?

That you keep characterizing drafting Hurts as "insane" does not make it so.

I think it's funny that people are "outraged" by this but a lot of those same people are OK that Cardi B, singer of WAPs (look up what it means) interviewed Joe Biden.  The same outraged mob thought it was funny the NBA had an IG model problem in the bubble.

Women 100% should be treated with respect but there was nothing wrong or even false about what MIlbury said.

I’m assuming he was referring to allow Women into the bubble. Stephen a. Smith the other day was about having conjugal visits allow and only having one person you can bring into the bubble for sex during this cause it was an essential need for players.
