Other notes:

JJAW had a strong showing today. Two highlight reel catches and a TD in 11v11's. Seems to have a chemistry going with Wentz. Perkins also had a strong day as TE #1.

Killins mixed in with starters. Was starting KR and PR today.

D had 3 easy dropped interceptions. Nothing new here.

I forget if I read it here or on twitter but I recall someone asking who Toohill got sacks against. Anyway, it was against Mailata on the 2nd team OL.

Are you sure? He was apparently playing LDE, which meant he was going against Driscoll.

WRs should beat CBs in 1 on 1s.
DL should beat OL in 1 on 1s.

Both happened, as expected. Not a big deal.

It wasn't 1 on 1's for the DL. It was mainly 11v11 and then a two minute drill.

Mike Kaye said it was all against Mailata. Also said Driscoll generally looked good.

Ourlads has Toohill and Oastman at RDE fwiw. I didn't see him mentioned anywhere at LDE. They have Graham, Sweat, Miller and Leo listed at LDE.

Mailata will never clear waivers. He's not going to be on the Eagles practice squad.

I just don’t buy that anymore.

But hey jack del rios extensive experience in football may be able to over come his lack of judgement in politics we'll see.

Right because there aren’t any successful intellectuals who support Trump...

It’s your kind of attitude that draws people to a nut like Trump.

I just finished watching season 6 where the guy only needed to last 77 days in the arctic.  That was about 76 days longer than I would last.

I thought it was pretty funny in the first couple of seasons how people would go home after 1 day, the one guy literally saw a bear and went home the next day. I know I would enjoy "bulking up" to get ready to go for sure, I'm not skilled as a survivalist but I could probably harvest enough food to make it for a while. Even at my age if they asked me to I would try it. Seems like a good way to lose weight. 😁

I think what people are making a big deal of is OL getting beat by DL in team drills.

Defense is usually ahead if offense early so well see. If next time mailata gets abused in team drill could be an issue.

For a Million bucks I think I would "want to" for 16 more days when you already stayed  84 days.

Is it a million now? For some reason I thought it was half. Hard to know how long the other person can go though. I remember Alan Kay was shocked the first season when it was over in a month or so. I believe him when he said he would have stayed as long as it took. After a certain point you miss your family and that life has to wear on you. Life really on the line I'm sure they could. I mean 84 days shows that to me. That is way past the first season or two. I see your point for sure. Just sounds like desire to me more than not being able to.

Yeah I'm all for not being an A hole on TV during the job, but I don't see that comment as being worthy of being canceled.

Meanwhile, on Netflix....

I would be hesitant to believe what reporters tweet/report from practice, since they often don't have a great view. One guy blamed Mailata for the Ridgeway sack, which another guy pinned on the interior of the oline. Also, Toohill has been playing LDE throughout practice, so I doubt they would change him.

Just wanted to add, I just read Kempski's practice notes and he said Toohill beat Driscoll for a sack but he was taking notes so missed some things. These contradictions among reporters is annoying.

BLG said both were against Toohill. Guess Kaye was way off.

Didn't one of them from the first seasons come back and advocate for keto after losing weight?

I was watching "Alone" last night and one of the contestants "tapped out" as she was leaving she said "this experience has taught me I can do anything" I'm thinking okay then why did you tap out?

She can do anything, just not that thing.

It used to be 500,000. They upped it to a million this year and they have to stay 100 days. There is now 2 weeks left (at least for me because I dvred it) and 2 contestants left. The girl that quit was the person I wanted to win. My point is don't say "this has taught me I can do anything" while you are quitting.

Don't know honestly. Keto does work as long as you can stand doing it.

Lol yeah I hear you. If she went in knowing it had to be 100 days that kind of changes things.

Never said one cant be intellectual and support Trump, i find the 2 to be incongruent. Do find it interesting that you added the word "successful" though.

Having said that i dont want to play this game today and derail the blog into a dystopian political crap fest.

Id rather talk about the OL getting whooped and the WR showing out!

Oh and dallas sucks!

I agree Keto works at getting ones body into a state of ketosis.

Just as long as one doesnt do any of those filthy muggle push ups😉

I could make a shelter and start a fire but my hunting and fishing skills would get me starved out in less than a week.

Consistent theme among these notes is Avery is doing nothing. He's not beating up Mailata like Oastman is, and he also hasn't lined up in the Joker role at all. Oastman lined up there a few times today.

They don't always have the best view.  Kempski tends to be pretty accurate. He pointed out that the story about Herbig getting trucked wasn't the complete picture because Herbig tripped over another OL's foot.

We'll do a team one. We'll be team E-A-G-L-E-S. If you can stand the smell we'll make it through. 😜

Understandable, but you would think Mailata and Driscoll are easy to distinguish based on what side of the line they are playing as well as the obvious body difference, even at a distance.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust my plant knowledge to know if what I was eating was the right kind of thing or the kind that would kill me.
