I looked him up because I had no idea who he was.  Let me tell you his ears didnt look bad at all.  Probably didnt need that procedure.

The dude on NFL network is a whole nother story.  His ears point outwards almost 90 degrees from his head.

yeah your right about andrew's ears , i think busch was upset that when drivers had issues with him they called him dumbo and his little feelings got hurt. today's cancel culture would shame the drivers now. LOL

Never said one cant be intellectual and support Trump, i find the 2 to be incongruent. Do find it interesting that you added the word "successful" though.

Having said that i dont want to play this game today and derail the blog into a dystopian political crap fest.

Id rather talk about the OL getting whooped and the WR showing out!

Oh and dallas sucks!

Ha so you had to put your two cents in  then act like the "bigger person” for discontinuing the conversation out of "respect” for the other posters.

I think Howie got a little over confident with these trade deadline deals. He hit on Ajayi, but Tate and Avery were just bad, Avery in particular. A 4th isn't rich but its still pretty valuable. I don't really see what warranted trading a 4th for Avery in the heat of the moment. In hindsight it's even worse.

What scares me about this trade is that Avery has that specific joker role, and it doesn't look like they are attempting to utilize him in that role at all in camp.  Are Howie and Doug/Schwartz having enough or even any dialogue about these guys before he trades for them?

He might not even need to be that.  He's never had this much talent around him in his entire career.  We'll see how that translates onto the field but on paper, their offense is scary

Their national media coverage has been nauseating.  From the players blowing Tom, to how great their defense will be all of a sudden, to Bruce Arian's stupid hats.  If I hear one more analyst or player say that "Tom is in better shape" than 20 years ago or especially this one......"Tom's arm is as good as its been since 2010," I'm gonna puke.  I'm sure he'll be much better than last year bc of weapons, but he was not good last year.  He regressed a TON for the first time in his career.  I hope it continues and they crash and burn.

Friendly refresher for all that Sweat was at one point one of the best HS prospects in football before a truly horrific leg injury. He beat the odds, but the talent has always been there. Fingers crossed...

Category 1s are usually good for breaking droughts and not a lot,of wind damage or storm surge.

His features and build always reminded me of a Jevon Kearse lite

Let's hope so. They seem close enough to trigger the Fujiwara (spelling?) Effect, which could be really bad.

Maybe

This was a good article about Josh Sweat pre-draft.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2770048-the-josh-sweat-miracle-from-leg-snapped-in-half-to-fastest-de-in-the-draft

It would be HUGE if Barnett started tapping in to his potential, Josh Sweat evolves in to a starter or above average starter and 2 of Ostman, Avery and Miller become contributors this year.  They still need to invest in DE or even DT round 1 next year but to have these young guys take that next step would be such a huge part of the roster puzzle.

Barnett has pretty much tapped his potential. He really had no upside coming out of college.

Ostman is labeled at 235 according to google.  Kinda small for a DE unless he bulked up some.  Would be nice tho if he and Sweat became good players.

They always have to invest in D-line as you can never have enough.  The Eagles problem has been drafting WRs and CBs.  If Reagor doesnt work out then they need to just start using draft picks to trade for proven WRs and CBs instead of drafting them.

Yeah, I know...just being overly optimistic with all of them.   The Eagles need these young players to start developing in to players that make an impact on the game rather than guys who just line up and take snaps.

He's 259 on PE.com's roster but who knows his actual weight.  He's definitely more than 235.
