The dude has never made an active roster, and missed the entire season last year without even playing in any preseason games. You haven't laid eyes on him in roughly two years. And somehow, he's not only better than two guys who were on the team last year but he's "obviously" better? Sounds to me like you're scouting with your ears here. What has miller done? What has avery done? How many times has any coach mentioned avery or miller? Schwartz had planned on using ostman as a stand up rusher last year before he got hurt, hes had plenty of praise for him. Youre correct im scouting with my ears cuz its all any of us have to go on and my ears are telling me its obvious to me. I didnt mean to suggest its obvious to anyone else just my opinion.

I loathe belicheat but the guy never had a problem admitting a guy he drafted in the 2nd round sucked and cut him a year later. I never like the avery tradecor the shareef miller pick and so far neither have shown anything to warrant a roster spot so well see. It would be nice if one of ostman avery miller could step up this year but well see.

Miller played what a total of 3 special teams snaps and avery had a few snaps in one game. Both have looked like a waste of time with Ostman and Toohill making more noise in camp

But moreso, I was remembering a tweet by Duffy I think showing some of his work and how he gets around an OL. Basically we've seen him go against NFL players, whereas with Miller we have a couple preseason 3rd and 4th quarters in which he did little to nothing against street players. I'm optimistic for both. But we know they won't keep both.

At the time of the pick it was known he needed a full year to work on his body and wouldn’t contribute anything. You would hope to hear more from the camp reports though.

And it sucks but without games or intra-squad scrimmages in which to see how these guys do under realistic conditions, it could end up costing guys like Miller further lost years or a place on the team altogether.

August 23, 20205 yr JJ Arcega-Whiteside said he’s "night and day different” this season. Quote "I look back and I'm not even the same guy, so I'm not even going to worry about what happened last year,” Arcega-Whiteside said. "Definitely going to be different this year.” Arcega-Whiteside was one of the worst receivers in the league as a rookie, catching just 10 of his 22 targets (45.5 percent catch rate). Jalen Reagor looks like a lock to start on the outside with Alshon Jeffery (foot, active/PUP) questionable for Week 1, and John Hightower has been playing over Arcega-Whiteside in three-wide sets. The Eagles offseason moves and the first few days of training camp suggest Arcega-Whiteside isn’t in their plans. I'm not the problem, I'm part of the solution!
August 23, 20205 yr It might be like the seasonal flu one day soon. But the first outbreak of the seasonal flu was a much bigger deal than today's flu seasons. Same with this.

Moving to Colorado for the winter and picking up a four wheel drive car I looked at it, but was more interested in the M5/RS7/Panamera (passed on all of them in the end). The quattro AWD system is bada**, but I think there are better cars for comparable money. Personally, it's just too big for my tastes. Heck, I think the BMW 5 series and and Audi 6 and 7 are bloated. The A8 is a fine car to drive 60 mph on the highway. Smooth and luxurious. But unless you have a driver and plan on sitting in the back seat or are planning to be the chauffeur for live at home adult children, I don't see a reason to buy such a large sedan. You can get a S7 (if you're into Audi) for the same money and you will get way more driving satisfaction in exchange for 10 inches in car length that you'll never enjoy anyway if you're the one driving it.

Those storms get nasty quick and at some cases your required to put chains on your tires. Id stick with a SUV. Now if your going to ride with 2 vehicles just for yourself then go for it. Get the A8 and say a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are bad a** in the snow. I have a SRT8 Jeep and even that with 600 HP all wheel drive it is awesome in the snow. But when I lived out there I had a reg Grand Cherokee and it was great in the weather. Esp if your heading out the the many mountains for Snowboarding/Sking.
