Some good comments about Casey Toohill from camp. Seems like a better prospect than Shareef Miller on paper; not sure how Miller went in the 4th and Toohill in the 7th.

I feel like most places i read about miller in the 2019 draft process had him as a 5-6th round guy.  The eagles took him in the 4th. He needed a year of development when we drafted and maybe even more. Frankly he might have been better served to stay at penn state and likely been more dominate as a senior and improved his draft stock as long as he stayed healthy.

Did BB just call his last timeout as Sixers coach?

I'm sorry for you loss. I recently had a family member pass away but they're getting cremated. Haven't seen the death certificate yet.

2 other folks I know passed recently and their next of kin let me see the death certificate.  No Covid mention.

As someone who is not a Sixers fan I would say definitely. It’s been pretty embarrassing during the playoffs. Need to move either Embid or Simmons, and if it’s me, both.

I hope so but all the sixers failings aren’t his fault.

I wouldnt move either.  See if a new coach can get Ben to shoot and Embiid to get in shape.  If no change after next season, The Shop is open for business.

If you move both you’re going into a complete rebuild again. You’re not winning anything unless you have a star in the NBA. Not saying either one is but they’re closer than anything they’re going to get in return. If the goal was let’s just have competitive teams then the Sixers never should’ve done the tank job to begin with. Because they were competitive they just weren’t good enough to win anything. You basically would have to go back to being a tank team to get a potential star because you’re not signing anybody either. And you’re still gonna be stuck in Horford and Tobias Harris’ contract unless you package them with Simmons and embiid but that likely means you get less in return to have someone take on those contracts and taking back equal bad contracts

Of course not.  Brand built a 1980's team.

That's kinda of strange asking to see someones death certificate. Yea maybe if it's your dad, mom, wife, kids but anyone else that's a little weird. And ur saying u saw 3 just this year?

They could also use a new GM. As this GM has no clue what the hell he’s doing. He built this team to be a elite defensive team in the playoffs. Yet they aren’t. I get Ben Simmons isn’t there but they were atrocious on the defensive this series and prior to all this they still weren’t elite. They were OK. But he and Brett Brown kept selling well they’re built for the playoffs. No they weren’t. They shouldn’t be that bad. And thinking that Horford at 33 years old was worth $100 million contract deserves for him to be fired. And then the belief tobias harris was a key player you build a championship team around is absurd. He is the stereotypical player Putting up good stats on a crappy team. You put that same  player on a good team he isn’t close to that. Literally anytime Jerry West calls you up and says I want to trade you this guy for this hang up the phone. Jerry West is the best in the business and if he doesn’t think Tobias Harris is good enough to win a title for what he’s going to ask for them you shouldnt think so either

Embid may have hope, but Ben has a mental defect when it comes to shooting.

My moms and my wife’s grandmas, and two friends of mine showed me their relatives, part of the proving Covid in death certificates is a myth.  We all compared notes.

Sure seems that way.  But I think Ben is their best player, good defender, can score and rebound.  Everybody on the team was a little bit better with Ben at PG, without him at PG, they are, obviously, a lottery team.  And I thought trying him at PF was a good idea.

Down 7, 6.5 secs and u call a timeout. Your last timeout. Why lol.

I wanted Brown gone 2 years ago. That time out alone proves he's dumb as a rock.

Age. Miller was 22 when he was drafted and turned pro as a junior (theoretical upside). Toohill just turned 24 and wasn’t all that good at Stanford.

I mean embiid was the farthest problem for the sixers in the series. He averaged 30 and 13. The trash surrounding him is the bigger issue. Harris was garbage for most of the series along with horford. Richardson did what he did all season up and down. Shake isn’t a starter. Thybulle and burks are the only two bench guys they have and really should be the top two men off the bench. Add on brown was done as a coach here.

CTL ALT DEL for the Sixers

Age definitely matters for the draft. At this point thought, Miller in year 2 should better than Toohill. If he's not, keep Toohill over Miller.

It’s worth of a try having him at power forward for some minutes if you have a better ball handler and Point Guard then shake Milton. Milton is a backup pg in the league. More he plays the more exposed he gets as a starter. I believe you should have Ben playing the point but I think you can also have him play power forward For sometime if you actually have somebody at Point Guard that is a capable and be a starter  That’s not shake. Yet they seem to believe he is

Now, their O-line is getting old and worn down, their corners aren't good, their D-line has one really good but not great player, their RB is now on the downside of his career, tight end suck, QB can't win against winners.  Cowboys talent level is like their owner, a series of cosmetic face lifts

Meh... some of those are a little far fetched.  Lawrence and Everson Griffin are good DEs.  If Aldon Smith is back to playing shape that's 3 guys who can rush the passer.  Zeke is not on the downside of his career.  If anything he's entering his prime.  One reason they finished 8-8 was they didnt use Zeke enough.  When he's the focal point of the offense they win.  Hopefully McCarthy being as pass happy as he is let's Dak throw it 50 times a game.

Thomas may finally get to Dallas but I don't think all of those attitudes and egos will mix up well. I'd love to see the team implode because of him but also don't want to play against him in the off chance that it works out

I'm not a Sixers fan, actually a Spurs fan but I never understood why they got Horford?  Seems like in today's NBA you need tall, athletic wings more so then traditional PFs or C's.

To me they screwed up taking Fultz over Tatum.  Never saw what the big deal with Fultz was.  Could have had a nice 3 with Embiid, Simmons and Tatum and maybe even kept Jimmy Butler too.

Right, Everson and Lawrence are good, not great.  Aldon Smith, even if healthy at this point, is only OK.  Zeke has been used a lot.  But mostly I' just think the praise of their talent is hype.  Win anything, and it's an argument.  Couldnt even beat the Eagles to win the division last season with our corners and WRs, Brooks out, the interior of the D line in shambles????  Their talent is talk, not action.  Therefore, it isn't that good.

Thomas and Clinton-Dix would be the 2 safety's.  Pretty good/solid but who are their CBs?

Havent seen alot of Earl since he left Seattle.  Is he still considered a top Safety?  I know I seen Nick Chubb leave him in the dust last year.
