I don’t know tbh. If i were the lions and the guy up and left To go sign elsewhere and leaving me in the dust it might leave a bitter taste in my mouth to want to sign him. And it’s not as if Matt Patricia is the type of that wouldn’t hold a grudge.

Right now there is other guys in front of Luka....LBJ, Durant, Kawhi, AD, Curry, Harden, Giannis, etc.  But if Luka keeps ballin and wins some championships while beating these guys in the process then how can he not be the face of the league.

No offense to Zion but he’s about a dinner plate away from becoming Oliver Miller and eating his way out of the league. Dude needs to get in better shape. Gilbert arenas nailed it when he was at duke coming out saying he needs to get himself in better shape and not be at 280.

I think if they were really interested they would have tried to stop him. He was only there for a tryout..................the Eagles offered him a contract

Yeah I think the first 2-4 games will be sloppy.  It'll be almost like the preseason to get guys in sync.

The kid from utah???😠 you mean the guy that won the dunk competition, is an all star has been in playoffs and actually got out of 1st round and was just the 4th player in nba history to have 2 50 point games in the playoffs that guy from Utah???

Having said that he could win 6 championships in a row and still wouldnt be the face because he plays in utah😒

Not really. Not going to be desperate enough to stop a journeyman DT when i have bigger fish to fry. Still would leave a bitter taste in my mouth that i set aside time for a workout for you and you bailed last minute even if there’s a contract offered. Again Patricia isn’t the type of guy to not hold that grudge.

I'm still calling BS. The guy who "reported" it tweeted out to Rapoport, Schefter and any guy who breaks transactions to confirm, and nobody is. They all would have way better connections than some rando twitter guy.

Even with preseason the first few weeks are usually a bit of a crap show. This year's going to be a turd for the most part, just gotta see which teams can somehow put it together (and stay healthier than the others) before it's too late.

Espn is going to espn. Frankly i think he is all star caliber talent. But he’s always hurt and out of shape. People complain about embiid out of shape Zion is in worse shape. I don’t think he’s a Lebron James type of talent. There’s very few of those in the nba. Espn gravitates to highlight film dunks. If Zion can’t turn the pelicans into a legit contender theyll begin to move in another direction with coverage. They did that with AD.

Again you are dealing with people who have egos and hold grudges like that. Just cause you wouldn’t doesn’t mean Matt Patricia wouldn’t. He’s shown he would in the past. So your argument pertaining to the lions no i don’t think it’s a lock for that reason.

Makes sense.  I just remember Bradham being the heaviest hitter on defense and usually all over the place....unfortunately, I guess those days are behind him. 😞

Cant compare him to Dirk.  Dirk was slow, goofy but was tall and could shoot.  Luka is way more athletic, exciting and can do more than Dirk.  

Dirk won a title but it was towards the tail end of his career.  I'm saying if Luka dominates and wins titles in the next few years he'll be the face of the NBA.  Makes no difference if he's white or not.
